My role with BattleGoat will be changing at the end of the month. Originally I was moving on entirely, but the team has asked me to still keep some hours with the company. These changes are due to a combination of factors, including my desire to pursue other projects, and that BattleGoat has no new project planned at this time following the releases of project 2025 and Global Outbreak. Since I've often been the "face" of the company, I wanted to share the details before it happens. Starting May 1st, my role will change from project manager to support coordinator and moderator. I'll only be online one morning per week (looks like Fridays for now).

This will impact our response times both on the forums and Discord. We'll be working with the community in the coming weeks to find people willing to take on a moderation role. Some of those conversations have already started. Also, there will still be updates, but they will be less frequent, and focussing more on content fixes. We will also prioritize any reproducible crashes.

Before I head off to new horizons, I wanted to share my gratitude to those who invested time in our games and who participated in many constructive conversations across the various mediums we use. I've spent more than two decades in the games industry so far and I'm quite proud of what I helped create at BattleGoat.

I hope all of you continue to enjoy all the games and I wish only the best for everyone I've worked with at BattleGoat, both past and present.
