IE do colonies need their own on world resources ?

I dont seem to be able to get anything to build on my one colony planet....

...is the issue the new power system ? Do we need a colony instead of a village to be created when we colonize,with the colony proving a small amount of all the resources ?

Resources are separate. Colony mechanics are being re-tested as we speak. Possibly broken...

K,colonies still dont seem able to construct anything ...BUT if you annex them,they can.

There are a combination of factors holding back new colonies - population, military personnel, initial supply levels, commodities. We need some large design work on colonies still, that's coming up in the next few weeks.
