Do heavy bombers need some love ?

I just started giving them a look, and they seem to under perform compared to jets.Is the concept still a fly over the target and drop ? Personally i think in order to compete with jets on bomb facility attacks, they need at least the same attack range as jets.And they really shouldnt be using dumb bombs at this point in time,they should have the same standoff capacity as jets

k, i dont think heavy bombers are "bombarding" ,i think they are only hitting one target in a hex at a time ? If so,giving them the carpet bombing they should have ,hitting whatevers in the hex would go a long way to "fixing" them.

Yes they are also idle in SRU. They need fixing since it was working in SR2020. AI wiped so many of my advances back then. Prolly complaints....
