If it's just for theatre transfer, you could just add the values 9,10,11 anywhere that only one or two of those are used.

A test that's still not been done, is to again define every theatre connect to every other theatre;

although the map editor can place and save a higher theatre number, the game can only read up to theatre entry 31.
Could there be a simple "upgrade" in the final version to up this number to match the editors capabilities?

Increasing the number of theatres is likely require a change in the savegame files, it affects a lot of stuff. And the "final version" has technically been released. Expanding the theatres could be considered for NextGen.

just wondered - because the editor does save those theatres , and the game loads and display them, just the text-description is not read and not being correctly displayed beyond the 31.theatre
