[UI-MOD] Road&Rail remove

If you like to clean up mistakes, or reduce your infrastructure budget (although that does not matter)
here a small UI-mod that adds 2 Buttons in the Treasury Tab, Transportation Window to remove any Rails and Roads in the selected Hex.
In doubt press both buttons - especially if there are some connections to other roads / rails.

Put in your games \HAPS\ subfolder.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Thats actually quite helpfull. I'm about to start a new game and gonna give this a try.

those UI-mods work also with existing saves - since well its just UI - that is loaded right at the mainmenu.
Beware you can remove even the pavement from the channel"bridge"...

Can you also add new bridges over "international" territory or this mod can only remove things?

I'd like that too. AI tends to blow up those bridges with artillery and would be great to be able to rebuild them.

Just tried it in game and it works as advertised. Really handy tool if you want to get rid of or rearrange existing transport infrastructure.

sorry i cant do that - i basically just ported the function that was available in the map editor to the main game.

As long as the unit file loaded by the editor contains rails, roads and bridge entries, you can place them -
Roads and Rails as usual - Bridges like a center building one click per hex - unless you want to have multiple bridges per hex
Look for the entries in the first of the tabs.

on latest .52 version this one crashes

sorry to hear that - for me it works with the insider build of today (.54)
maybe you want to wait till BG finishes their rail&road removal tool (check the bottom of the original TRE_F4.HAPX file)

it works including insider build IF steam is running in the background.

The crash I have is when I run the game without steam..

and that's repeatable on my end.
