Roger, as typed to .pole when he messaged me, I did not see the message until after the game had finished. I will make an effort to be there next Saturday.

(NEXT SESSION: 9/3/16 9am est/3pm EU)

SECOND SESSION played on 8/27/16:

Today, we had our second successful MP session. Me (Pol), Fistalis(Chi), GIJOE(Australia), Viper(Spa) and Tark(Fra) started the game. Tark left after 1 hour or so. Warvick joined us in the last hour. We lost Fistalis somewhere along the way. We played for about 5 hours and this crew finished up our second session: me (Pol), Viper(Spa), GIJoe(Aus) and Warvivk(Bra).

Immediately after starting the session, Spain and Poland jointly deployed UN land forces in Belgium in anticipation of defending France from Germany. Spain and Poland fortified 3 locations in Belgium. Poland added 8 air units later on. In addition Poland deployed small forces in Yugoslavia and Austria. Neither Spa nor Pol were able to open a land transit treaty with France. So stationing units in Belgium was the only option at the moment. Australia and Chile were battling weak economy and social turmoil. They were not able to deploy any peace keepers abroad at that time. Both countries focused on expanding economically. Poland proposed UN financial aid to Australia and Chile, but it was vetoed by Australia. Australia was very active with trading with others. Chile, although limited in the beginning, was not shy with promoting their national pride globally and is looking to surprise the international community in the near future. Chile and Brazil will be needed to stop the USA expansion. Australia will have to keep an eye on Japan and Eastern Asia whenever possible. Brazil's president Warvick just commented that the Military Minister did not build any units. The president's anger must have started a huge militarization of Brazil.

Around April 1937, Japan invaded China. Shortly after USA declared war on Cuba. USA also declared war on Mexico in May 1937. In the mean time, Spain and Poland legally acquired small city states near their borders: Danzig, Andorra mainly. It was legal because Australia and Brazil were not opposed to this expansion. They are plotting their future invasions themselves. At the end of the session, Poland donated over 10 combat units to China, since Beijing fell to the Japanese. The Polish president in his fury ordered military deployment in China to defend their Chinese friends. Spain announced that they will help defend China. Spain also stated that they wanted to help Mexico against USA. We will see what will happen in the next episode of the MULITPLAYER GEOPOLITICAL WORLD SIMULATOR on 9/3/16.

Viper posted our save in this thread. You can join us on 9/3/16 at 9am EST. Will China survive? Will Chile and Australia improve their economy so that they could deploy peacekeepers abroad? Will the French president, Tark return just in time to defend France from inevitable German invasion? Will Italy attack Spain? When will Germany roll their Panzers out? Stay tuned.

How was the speed of the game?

Supreme Ruler Ultimate seemed to have problems compared to Supreme Ruler 2020 last time I tried.

If memory serves it was about the same as 2020. It is not "fast", but it is not unbearable either.

Come join us Chris, it might be fun.

Do what I do, set two clocks on your computer. I have one set for local time and one set for Zulu/GMT. In your case, 47, set one for Eastern Standard Time... can always tell the time in the other zone by hovering your mouse over the clock display on bottom right of computer.

We managed to play for a bit, then game crashed. For unknown reasons I kept getting booted from connection after we tried a restart. I elected to leave and let the others play. Have fun.

(NEXT SESSION: 9/10/16 9am est/3pm EU)

Session 3 update (9/3/16):

It was rough in the beginning. Viper, myself, GIJoe, Number 47 and Warvik showed up on time. Unknown guy showed up from GameRanger and we allowed him to join. He did not make it into the game probably because of his internet. We started on time a few minutes after 9am/3pm. We had issues connecting. Guys were disconnecting. It was a bad day for us. I think GIJoe played only for a short while with us. We tried several times to get him back into the game because he was booted several times (last week Joe had no issues). We all agreed to exit the game to get GIJoe back into the game. But then we wasted about 40 minutes trying to get him back and he gave up, wished us luck and left. So the four of us continued the game. Then shortly after Warvik disconnected. We decided at that point to play for one hour just to get our feet wet. After one hour we let Warvik in and so me, Warvik, Viper and 47 played maybe for another hour until the end of the session. We also attempted to let Tark in. He was late. But he was not able to get into the game at the first attempt. So we played on.

The game was fun once we started playing. AI USA went crazy. Conquered Mexico, Canada and Central American Nations. UN resolution was passed to send military aid to Mexico. Players could donate/deploy units to Mexico or donate military designs or other forms of assistance. Viper (Spain) managed to deploy peace-keepers in Mexico, but it was too late and the force was too small. There was no time for military advisers to arrive and coordinate the defense. Spain deployed there by itself as the Security Council led a disorganized effort to defend Mexico. This was due to the fact that the Security Council was only recently formed and is still inexperienced. We will have to liberate these countries later. USA really caught us by surprise and we could not help Mexico.

At the same time I (Poland) was saving the AI Chinese from the AI Japanese. Luckily I bought a lot of units from AI UK and donated them to China. Beijing fell, but the donated units stopped further invasion and started pushing the Japs back. I am on my way with my first-response task force to China by sea. I will fortify key passages in China and I will start wearing the Japs down. Their force is not big. I got nearly all treaties signed with China so I am optimistic about it.

Number 47 (Liberia) was very active in Africa. Honestly I did not keep tract of his operations due to real life distractions while I was playing the game. The Liberian Government did report that they are actively engaged in liberating African nations from Italy. It is unknown at this point how well Liberia is doing in Africa. From limited intelligence reports coming out of Africa, Liberia is believed to be doing well economically at home and militarily in the battlefield.

On the Brazilian front, things were quiet. However, the Brazilian president, Warvik did reach out to the international community and shared his views about the USA aggression and about the Brazilian nation well-being. Brazil said that they have plenty of oil and they dismissed any signs of weaknesses. The Brazilian president agreed with Poland when I advised to fortify all passages through the Amazon River. This is where USA will be stopped. Brazil reported that they were unable to fortify in Panama, as president Warvik yelled: "All these Central Americans hate me". Brazil does not have any transit treaties with Panama.

The Spanish president Viper just experienced crushing defeat in Mexico, unable to stop the American war machine. The Polish intelligence agents had clear sight of Spanish deployments, but nobody helped Spain in Mexico. It was a total collapse of the international security structure on that front. Plans will be made to liberate Central America. It was also worrying that Spain declared on the news that they are broke.

Our save file was posted above by Viper. We will continue next Saturday.
