I'm using the latest map editor in Supreme Ruler Ultimate and I'm editing Japan - 1914
I hit the infosat button and it automatically reset the ownership of a big chunk of Japan to Cameroon, I could ask why the hell Cameroon but that's beside the point.
Where are the country ID numbers that I would use to set the ownership back to Japan.
And why didn't they make this easy and show the different countries as part of this feature ?
Map Editor - infoset - country numbers ?

That worked !
Where do you find those id numbers ?
Another question, where do I find the save folder for the map editor ?
And thankyou.

In the SR1914.cvp file in the games \maps folder
search for japan:
you will find nearby
the last two digits of that number defines the owner and loyalty
the first one or in this case two digits are the block number - i guess it was made to sort/filter regions to geographic location
The map editors files are saved in \Scenario\Custom folder (the same where you put your .scenario file to load in editor)
search for japan:

Code: Select all
&&CVP 2001
regionname "Japan"
