The "Conservative x Liberal" options are already confusing by itself since there are no in-game descriptions explaining how this sytem works.
And it gets even more confusing for most players since not everyone is american, so not everyone understands the american ''republican x liberal" dichotomy.
Also, add an in-game description explaining what exactly both ''ideologies'' do in-game.
"Liberal x Conservative"

Re: "Liberal x Conservative"
In the game manual, the cabinet ministers section does offer some vague comments on liberal vs. conservative, but adding some details in game is a worthwhile idea. We do try not to add unnecessary text to the game, that just makes translating the game more complicated and more expensive. And note that my use of lower case liberal/conservative is intentional, we are using them in the ideological sense, the do not represent the Canadian political system in which the Conservative party would be considered liberal by US standards.

Re: "Liberal x Conservative"
In that case, changing the name to "Left x Right" or "Progressive x Conservative" would be the best move
