Re: Technical Support - Please Read First
Small update to the list.
We have determined that in a MP game where players reload the game they may find after some time that they are not in sync. This may be the cause of the occasional sync error we had already mentioned. The cause of this is if a player is issuing orders while the system is attempting to write the save. Autosaves are the most common place for this since players are not always watching the clock and will issue orders right through the day end. It is however very rare due to the timing involved, there is a very small window that can cause this. If players pause and make a savegame while playing in MP this problem should be easily avoided.
The suggestion, if players need to use an autosave, is to send a copy of the host's autosave to all other players. This will assure that everyone is in sync. The other players number groups and e-mails will however be cleared when using this system.
Again, this bug should be rare, but wanted to make everyone aware of it.
