I thought you could cancel your line of sight treaty with them. Although I am not positive of this, Its just what I have read before.

You can, cancel your side of the treaty (unless they changed this in the last patch).
It seems odd though, that your system is slowing down that much.
My main pc is only a dual 3(E8400), and i can have line of sight with a whole lot of nations in wars, and not bog down.
Also, if you do cancel your side of the treaty, dont expect to be able to get it back in the future.The Ai is very hard, if not impossible to get to accept a one sided deal on treaties.
Perhaps listing your system specs would help.

I know we can cancel our treaties but I would like to have a optons that we could turn off the allies view. I will post my specs. Thanks
