Anyone for a game?

Post here to arrange or discuss multiplayer games. Remember when planning a game to state the time the lobby will be open, the time the game will start and the time zone you are in and if you are going to play through Gamespy or direct IP address.

Anyone for a game?

Post by Seydlitz »

I think it would be a lot of fun if we could get 4-8 players together and play one of the bigger maps. We should probably shoot for late November or early December, since the forums are somewhat quiet right now  . I'm willing to host, and it will be an IP game. Post if you're interested.

Seydlitz,

Thanks for the offer. However, I've never played MP and it doesn't hold much interest for me personally. On a more practical note, I know that as sure as God made green apples -- the moment I would absolutely need to be online my daughter would need to have the Hanna Montana DVD changed, or my wife would decide it was an excellent opportunity to have a quick chat (i.e., at least an hour) about something.

Single player for me.

Regards,

Id be up for it .

Been awhile since red kicked my butt in multi, and heck who knows maybe this will be the one game (not counting the one score based victory game in which i ruled :P ) that i dont end up attacked (and crushed)by Red and whoever he "talks " into being the last he will kill :P

I would be willing to give it a shot. I have a new computer and a new IP, so perhaps it will let me join properly this time.

I'm in Switzerland on ADSL 5Mbit, I hope I can join in because I'm dying to have some human interaction in this game. no wife or children hogging the PC either

Yea, I was thinking some continent-level map. Those are all pretty good suggestions.

It has been so long since I played Middle East, is Afghanistan/Pakistan included in that map?

In any case SoB, if you really want to hand me the technological advantage...I will make the sacrifice and play Israel. Merkava-IIIs and IVs against outdated Russian tanks? YeeHaw!!! Actually in Multi player games it is customary to "remove" the toughest region from human player availability.

I would up for it. I haven't played MP before so whatever map you want is fine with me. I just need to know day and time. Weekends work best for me. Prefer saturday morning.
