Multiplayer Sync Error

This sometimes happens quite often - every 1 minute

And after it happens sometimes just once
and sometimes 20 times in a row -after those 20 times you can suddenly play again hours without sync error.

Now the sync error isn't that bad actually.
1) saved game
2) leave the game back to lobby for the host
3) client goes into the saved games folder
4) while host, hosts a new game
5) client deletes the saved game to make sure - it loads the saved game from the host
6) now the client syncs with the host and downloads his saved game
7) now you start the game again - with both saved games identical

I found this - helps to bypass every sync error - you just sometimes have to repeat it a few times..

Now - the hassle is of course for the client(s) to leave the game, manually delete the saved game, then start the game again and back into the lobby and start the game.


instead...... this could be automated!!!

Inside the game - just program a popup upon sync error that pauses host/clients and inform both host and clients:"we detected a sync error - all clients download the actual data from the host to ensure all data is in sync"

show a progress information - as currently in the lobby - that the client is fetching the data from the host..

And once completed - enable the key "continue" (while downloading the data from the host this is greyed out.

That's it.. the whole "sync error" becomes suddenly a very little nuisance..

This could not be automated easily, this is some deep rooted code facing potential permission blocks.

And the better solution is for us to solve the sync errors.

We discovered one reason for sync error - if you really wish to fix that.

Since it's for many years already thought - you didn't go to fix that.. but then I'll write a bug report for it
