the screens show 3 explosions that seem to have locked up.The one by the city on the far right is the easiest to spot. Also the explosion by the city on the lower left

Known issue, part of broader VFX clean up that needs to be done.

I think its still occurring when theres a huge amount of explosions close together.

Could you just turn off the explosions...i wouldnt be suprised if in the end you just had to remove them totally.

Its not like they are anything useful.I dont think the solution your going to try about wiping them every save or every day will work,thing is you need a huge amount of troops to even remotely successfully gain a beachhead on a major factions home world.They need a huge amount of troops to defend their world, and the damn explosions can cause stuttering and lockup in under a day of heavy combat.

Aha, I like that suggestion. This is part of a larger issue than just the explosions. I'm working on a couple other things in that same area and I think I've been able to find some more information on how it works. I think with things like explosions and the smoke it might be a little over used when you have a lot of units stacked up on a hex.

Lastest patch ,no change i can see,clock started to run at .70 ,before it managed to get to .71 ,stuttering that led to a full lock up.

Not a fan. Im starting to think you guys lost a bet, and that you now per the bet, have to try and find ever more elaborate ways to block players view of battles while making it look like the world is on fire.....

uuuummmmmmmmmm..... what is that ? it seemed to slowly rise into the air (slowly increase in size) ,then it seemed to slowly fall back to the ground (slowly decreased in size).

Oh wow. You really have some issues there. There were changes pushed to correct issues with our explosions. This should have been fixed. Looking into it. This was happening but I was able to fix it.

My apologies this made it to the fast track. I'm doing some better testing now and have found a few issues surrounding our on planet VFX. Working to correct what you've found and a few other things also.
