are my light vsam firing on infantry like 8 hexes away ?

If that formula fix fixes it for all units ,your good, if not, you might want to look at light infantry firing on aircraft also..while they should have a short range, they also seem to have a long range

You sure? The numbers for infantry look right in the data set...

No, just something i couldnt explain and the only thing in the area i saw firing was light infantry. And i had that area fully blanketed with aircraft, so if something else was there it was hiding extremely well.

the two units in this picture, a sam and a light infantry were both firing at the very wounded aircraft in the picture (yellow brackets around both eneny units)

Now i guess its possible that another unit unseen is under that enemy light infantry,and the yellow bracket was for it,buts its highly suspicious...
