auto save on quit somehow lost data for my home planet

and a settled moon.. Both now show as unexplored

..in addition, the auto save on quit wont save til youve run the game past the date of the bad autosave on quit.

So,if the autosave on quit goes bad ,and the autosave on quit has a date of april 10 , the game wont auto save on quit again ,til you played the game past april 10.

So, you encounter this bug, reload a save older then the autosave on quit for arpil 10th ,and the older save is like march 20th, the autosave on quit wont make another autosave on quit til youve played the game past april 10th....

Since i dont have a grasp on the time system in this game, ive substituted dates that make explaining the issue easy to express and understand.

I did some testing around this. Are you saying here that the SaveOnQuit was bad for some reason? When testing it the save is actually called SaveOnQuit. I didn't notice any weird functionality around day end though.

IF the save on quit save goes bad, which mine did ....

My planets, including my home planet ,became unexplored ,zero population.

And when i loaded another save that wasnt bad, when i leave that play session the game wont make a new save on quit save unless i play past the date of the save on quit that went bad.

I'm getting stuck on this. What do you mean by "goes bad"? If the file is corrupt, that would normally it would not load at all.

I dont know what to tell you,it loads,its just lost all the progress (buildings,units,population,etc) on multiple planets under my control. Again, my homeworld showed as an unexplored zero pop planet.
