Gamasutra Article
David and George went to the Toronto Indpendent Games Conference this past weeked and it would seem we got some notice at Gamasutra. They were asked many questions about the gaming industry and have been very open and honest about our experiences in developing Supreme Ruler 2010. If you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes here, it's well worth a read.

It’s to this end that Battlegoat are now intending to control their own marketing and deal directly with distributors for future projects.
IF i get the gist of this article correctly :
Good to hear your telling "publishers" about that long walk they should take on that short pier.
Like ive said once before "Isnt it good to be exactly right where you should be ? "
IF i didnt follow the gist correctly:
Ummm, why havent you told "publishers" to take that above mentioned walk yet ?
The game industry would be sooooo much more successful without the far too often leech like creatures known as "publishers".

Being self-funded does help as investors probably don't like wait around for too long to see their ROE (return on investment) .
With that said - spread the word. Sales will be used for future development... making the next title even better.

Thanks

With a bit more work, yes it will replace the old site. So, all sites : supremeruler2010.com, battlegoat.com etc will have one main look with subsections for games. Call it a unified marketing approach.tkobo wrote:I agree, the new site looks great.
Is that gonna replace the old one ?

That's promising. Fingers crossed for a more strategic focused modern world sim. I guess that you've already decided the direction...The biggest thing we do from here is continue to evolve the Supreme Ruler gaming experience and make the best games we possibly can - the ultimate in strategy wargaming!
Any chance of some hints?
