I've emailed the Steel Panthers Main Battle Tank group with a link to this site. SP MBT comes out friday. It is a free game - a modification of the old SP2 game. You can find info at;

Hopefully some of the people on that list have an interest in Strategic modern era games.

I've also posted a link to this forum on the Matrix bulletin board.

Everyone else here should also try to get the word out.

Thanks! :smile:

Obviously the more people we have promoting this forum, the better the traffic will be.

The opening of this forum was also posted by me at http://www.warfarehq.com. I'm sure that some of the Warfare HQ membership will be interested.

Hi All!..

Its great to see the canadian companies pioneering the software titles that the real strat heads want to play..

I posted the link too here over at the superpowers forum.. so to be fair

http://www.golemlabs.com/

Between both games, there could develop an awesome community..

I recently ran across the info that Sid Meier was born in Canada, but oddly enough I haven't been able to confirm or deny that fact - actually, according to my internet searches I don't think he existed before forming Microprose in 1984. But be that as it may, yes us Canadians have a strong sense for strategy games!

Hey, that wasn't spamming, it was in a subtopic called "Other Games" under the topic "Alternate Civs/Other Games"... very on-topic I would say :smile: I would call it "cross pollination"...
