In my opinion, the best muliplayer games are ones in which there are circa twice as many regions as players and ALL the regions start out real weak.

This makes it hard for the vets who rush to combat to be as effective, and dominate the other players as fast as they can when they have a region that needs little to no work .

Ok, I went through the maps that were mentioned. The mideast has only about five playable regions, so if we have more players than that it won't be an option. Indomalaysia's countries are too small in my opinion, and it would take forever to build up a decent army. Africa looks like a pretty good map, since most regions (except south africa) are pretty equal and there are about a dozen of them or so. And the world war maps are <i>way</i> too big for MP unless we want to play 30 hours or so . My other suggestions would be South America and India-Pakistan. We'll probably figure it out in the game.

I'm going to randomly set the game for December 1st (a Saturday) at noon. It is of course flexible. If you want it at some other time, suggest something!

i don;t want to be rude but 12 est means nothing to european
what time zone is it ?
should i guess US EST?
what time diffrence to gmt ?

im also of same idea, pls let use GMT time zone to let all World players to undesrtand the time.

If I am not mistaken, Eastern Time Zone is GMT -5. So 1200 EST is 1700 GMT.

what scenario do we want to play ?

Feltan is right about the time zone. We'll decide the scenario once we see how many are playing, but most likely it will be Africa. I looked at all the regions, and they are surprisingly well-balanced (with the exception of South Africa).

The game will be an IP game, with the address being 137.99.145.141. I'll open the lobby fifteen minutes before 12, and we'll wait fifteen minutes after that before starting, so that no one gets left out. I suspect the game will take 4-5 hours, and if it looks like it'll go longer we can always save it and come back to it later.

i remember i played it as south africa and libya
i don;t have any feeling on other countries
so if i get libya or maroco i'd be happy

darn work is keeping me busy so this saterday i will be at work and next saterday iam go to a shooting range (it is a open day so AK 47 for every one and m16 ext)
