If by "fix" you mean, "Does the AI create unit stacks of seven and attack with several stacks at once to overwhelm weak points in my lines?" No. But... It does throw much more effective and wholehearted attacks at you. I'm conquering S. America and have counted 23 engineer and over a dozen tanks rolling towards me in one wave(this was merely the largest I've seen. it has been using better massed attacks over and over again). I don't know if it was lucky or good, but it picked the perfect place in my line to attack too. I had several half stacks of my own engineers covering that stretch loosely. I had to divert most of my FBs from my own attack to drive them off (well... ok slaughter them

) But it was impressive from an AI standpoint.
If you mean "Does it use it's airforce to support attacks?" Sort of. It does use it as more than part of it's static defense at airbases now. That same wave of FBs I set to airpatrol over the AI attack lost several sqaudrons when the AI sent every Int squadron it had to fight them off. It was too late for their ground forces, but again, pretty spiffy for the AI.
If you mean, "Does it load units on sea transport and launch amphibious assaults?" No. But.... It has been giving me hell this whole campaign. It has been vigorously attacking my Naval forces at pretty good distances from it's own bases. Several times, it has left stacks of attack subs hidden in waters controlled by myself, suddenly attacking a stack of my navy as it passes by, long after my main naval forces have moved further along the coast. I'm not sure if that tactic was "intentional", or if I just need to drag a frigate along every coastal hex I take from now on...but it hasn't been a cake walk on the oceans.
So, I'd have to know more detail to your question, but in general the AI has been giving a much tougher account of itself.
