Hey, a fellow Rooskie here, I picked up this game a little while ago. Although its got a bit of a learning curve, this game is seriously amazing. You have so much potential and ability it's incredible.

I also read that this was BattleGoat's first modern game. I gotta say, for a debut, this is damn good. :p

Only game I've ever played that could make me feel stupid and smart at the exact same time.

Anyway, I'd like to say hello to all at the forums, and just say, that I'll probablly have questions about stuff as I progress in the game, so it'd be nice if some of the more experienced players could give me their AIM or MSN messenger handles to help me out with the game a little, since its a bit overwhelming for this fellow Commie, so as to not bring the wrath of the search-nazis. :p :-)

In general, it's better to ask your questions on the forums - as then the answers can be of use to all. There are lots of folks here who will be happy to pontificate. Having them answer in public keeps them a bit more honest.

Welcome to the dysfunctional family. :P

I'd gladly give you my IM addy...but since I don't ever really log on to it, it wouldn't do you much good.

Il Duce has a good point. If you ask in the forum, not only will you usually get a pretty timely response from someone, you are also very likely to get advice and information from multiple players and from all ends of the spectrum. Check some of the threads about power plants, for example. You can find the math and logic to support basing your economy on petrol and coal...or nuclear (and everything in between). Not only will you probably get more information than you need, but other players new and old can also benefit from the discussion.

That being said, everyone I have PMed has been friendly and responsive, including and especially the Devs. So feel free to PM anyone you might have a specific question for.
Again, welcome and good hunting to you.

 well does buying 2 copies count as support. Me and my brother both have one. i caused him to buy one for himself. And if the next game is like Sr2010 or better we'll end up buying it too i bet.

Heh, one complaint about the game though. The tutorail was sadly a bit dry, a little boring, and slightly uninformative. It would've helped if they were maybe hands-on type tutorails.

hahahaha, tell me about loving this game... I have it since my "southamerican days".... now I'm in Canada with my family (and I love this country as much as the game!), still playing it, and specially amazed seeing as everything predicted in the storyline of the game is starting to become true. At least, in Southamerica, which is why me and my wife decided to become canadians.

Believe me, it's becoming reality. Just look at Chavez and Evo... southamerica will explode in the next few years. SR2010-like...

anyways, glad to be here, glad to hace the chance to love this country, and glad to play your little gem...

regards,

Where did you move to in Canada? Our development studio is in Hamilton, Ontario (well, Greater Hamilton that is.)

Welcome to the country!!

we moved to Vancouver... well, the outskirts of Vancouver really: Langley. It's beautyful!

If you want to hear terror tales from the south, let me know. What I can assure you is this: your storyline is more real than you possibly imagined.

Cheers for your game,
