Hi!
In every game I play AI tends to prefer building pontoon bridging over transport truck as soon as they are researched. As the result, soon AI is left with tens of pontoon bridges (it does not know how to use anyway) in reserve and without much needed supply trucks. Is there any way to improve this so it does not overbuild pontoon bridges at the cost of transport trucks?

What region in what map? If I can't replicate it, I'll ask you for a savegame.

Re: AI overbuilds pontoon bridges
Well, any major region in 1914 sandbox. E.g. Germany, Russia, UK, USA... Don't know if it is up to combat losses, but reserves are full of pontoon bridges and no trucks (trucks are mostly not in reserve). I see that pontoons are not very atractive for AI to build (red dot compared to 3 green dots for trucks), but there are so many of them. Yes, I can provide savegame if needed.
And by the way, are there any way to force AI to build more regular infantry and less Elite guards? I know Elite guards are better but are more time consuming and expensive, so AI can not build much of them which leads it to have too little units to cover the front.

All of this is in the AIParams, build sequence sections. I'd have to re-learn it from the wiki to try and make suggestions.

Re: AI overbuilds pontoon bridges
That would be appreciated. I just started as the US and they don't even know the pontoon bridge in 1914 or 1917. I'd like to see your savegame and look at what AI regions have put in their build queues.

Yes, the problems start when AI research pontoon bridges
