I'm not sure if this is bug or intended, if you manually give entrenchment order to any unit (even if it is in the open land) it gains almost %100 repair speed bonus (as if it were on a hex with a barracks on it).
Edit : Same with ammunition replenishment. If you manually give entrenchment order, unit gets big boost to its supply.

Sorry for jumping in .. how do you see the repair/ammunition bonus? There is no way to direclty see the bonus, AFAIK. I just watch unit ammunition amount and visually estimate the replenish speed.
