is there a current documentation of the file OPTIONS.INI
the old links are all dead.
iam interested especially in:
1.the zoomdistance where different entities like roads, facilities , terrain , borders, mapfilters are displayed / fade away
2. change (increase) the 2nd fastest speed (without removing calculations)

Re: OPTIONS.INI
thanks!
update:
tried out the options - although it reads:
"Submitted by Balthagor on Thu, 01/03/2013"
did not work - game even deleted some of the entries i tried.
Found this one:
after lots of testing i found only the following by observation:
the first one seems to be the minimum zoom level - a 0.01 makes one hex as large as a full HD screen - nice!
the second max.zoom - and the value is already very high.
the 5th one seems to control the display of borders / filters / ressources
i found another one with seems to change the pitch angle of the view.
unfortunately i could not find a way to display roads and the terrain textures at higher zoomed out view.
Which value or other option of the current (year 2020) options.ini controls these properties?

Re: OPTIONS.INI
The zoom values are used like this:
Minimum zoom value (zoom IN), Maximum zoom value (zoom OUT), Zoom min to show grid at all, Zoom start point to fade grid, Zoom min to show borders at all, Zoom start point to fade borders, Zoom min to show units at all, Zoom start point to fade units, Zoom min to show upgrades at all, Zoom start point to fade upgrades, Zoom min to show transp at all - also used in drawhexout (resource overlays etc), Zoom start point to fade transport, Zoom level that map tilt starts, Zoom that the all-hex map ETT begins to show, Zoom that the terrain starts to fade, Default alpha blend of the terrain over the backmap (overridden by terrain modtertex)
Game Speed can be manipulated by using the speedrateslices option, it takes 7 comma seperated values:
speedrateslices: 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60
These are just example values and the number works out to be the number of game slices per second

Re: OPTIONS.INI
another 2 questions:
1. it seems no of the zoomvalues had an effect about the range of zoom to display forests - ie i could make flat terrain texture, borders and roads visible to a higher zoomed out view , but it did not work for forest (or similar meshes as terrain features)
2. what does the option "bspeeddouble: 1" do (or maybe do less to increase speed) : in the performance survey the game ran in my config + reshade another 16seconds for 10 days faster and on some less populated custom map iam working on the day duration decreased from 13 to 5 seconds!
