Supreme Ruler Great War - Version Changelog 10.1.19 - Rail Transport!

BattleGoat is pleased to release a new update for Supreme Ruler Great War - featuring Rail Transport!

New features and changes in Version 10.1.49 (from previous public release 10.1.38):
  • RAIL TRANSPORT added
  • - Units will use Rail Transport when available
  • - Subject to Game Setting and Defense Dept ROE
  • - Rail transport is constant speed, no fuel use, no eff/morale penalty
  • Rail efficiency increased in supply model
  • Equipment list updates and fixes
  • Fixes to Campaign Lobby list
  • New Scenario Added "Brinkmanship"
  • Fixed gun emplacements not firing
  • Tech Tree updates and fixes
  • Created tooltip for last day trades
  • City nameplate size adjusted
  • Player name added to relations tooltip for Multiplayer
  • Revised Research Efficiency/Tech Level formula
  • Added additional lumber mills to Russia and increased their starting supply for the 1914/1917 start
  • Italian troops are now deployed for the 1917 start
  • Relationship changes in the 1914 sandbox
  • Added hotkey for minimap
  • Added popup for alert settings
  • City name plates changed to region name at far zoom
  • Added Multiplayer names to region name plates
  • Resolved rare MP Sync issue

Time to fire up the old girl and give her a new go. Will this be added to Ultimate as well or is it only added to GW?

Rail transport was added to Ultimate also.

Why is rail transport not using any fuel? Coal and later oil and electricity shoul'd be consumed.
I also suggest techs to improve rail speed as game progresess. Like rail infrastructure improvements, Diesel rail engines introduction and electric rail engines introduction.
Please teach AI to liberate and colonize instead of only annexing!

I think rail moves pretty quickly already. If you add tech progression in, then I'd argue that the base speed should be reduced before it get increased.

Base - 40km/h
Diesel - 60 km/h
electric 80km/h

Something like that?
Please teach AI to liberate and colonize instead of only annexing!
