Pick the slowest one and order the others to escort it.

or you could group them all, press shift and have them move in formation at a common speed, works for my battlegroups.

much better solution, otherwise your escorting units will trail the escorted unit and leave it vulnerable to attackSGTscuba wrote:or you could group them all, press shift and have them move in formation at a common speed, works for my battlegroups.

I did that, yet they go at different speeds and end up all over the place - what am I doing wrong?

Re: naval battle group help!
If you select the units you want to move, then look at where the orders bar is.
On the top left hand corner there are two buttons, most likely both grayed out currently. One of these causes the units to move in formation and can also be toggled on or off when you hold "SHIFT". The other button causes them to move at the same speed, exactly as you want them to.
Personelly I find that the best way to use it is to select the units, check both the boxes, then uncheck JUST the first one. This will uncheck them both by default but fear not. If you now hold down shift when you go to give the units an order you will notice they should default to move in formation, and if you check the orders bar you should see that they will also now default to move at the same speed!
I use it all the time for my carrier groups!
