The goal of this AAR is to rebuild the entire British Empire as it was in 1920 (and maybe USA to - it was part of the empire until 1776)

About The British Empire (the real one):

The British Empire comprised the dominions, colonies, protectorates, mandates, and other territories ruled or administered by the United Kingdom. It originated with the overseas colonies and trading posts established by England in the late 16th and early 17th centuries. At its height it was the largest empire in history and, for over a century, was the foremost global power. By 1922 the British Empire held sway over about 458 million people, one-quarter of the world's population at the time, and covered more than 33,700,000 km2 (13,012,000 sq mi), almost a quarter of the Earth's total land area. As a result, its political, linguistic and cultural legacy is widespread. At the peak of its power, it was often said that "the sun never sets on the British Empire" because its span across the globe ensured that the sun was always shining on at least one of its numerous territories.

Now, about our British Empire:

After His Royal Highness Prince William became the King of United Kingdom (also, made Her Royal Highness Catherine queen of the United Kingdom ), he disolved the parliment and became the supreme ruler of UK with the support of the military.
When the french and the germans became more and more aggressive, His Majesty decided that is time to retake all the territories in the world that served under the crown before and rebuild the mighty British Empire as it was years ago.
King Williams gave the order to build a strong and modern military force that is going to be needed to conquer and defend the empire against future enemies.
On the diplomatic scene, our great King wants to ally with France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Greece, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Japan, USA, Brazil and Indonesia - to prevent them being future enemies.

Operation First Strike:

King Williams calls for is war minister Sir George Armstrong to meet him at the royal palace Buckingham immediately.

- Sir Armstrong, this morning when I woke up, I saw the map of Great Britain and something was not right there.
- What is wrong with the map Your Majesty?
- This is wrong! (he points his finger on Ireland), the irish defied us for too long because of the Northern Ireland, is time to reunite this country!
- Reunite? How, Your Majesty?
- Reunite them under our flag ofcourse. I will give them a ultimatum to surrender to us, and if they don't accept it, will make them surrender by force.
- Your Majesty wishes to invade Ireland? That will hurt our relation with the United Nation.
- I don't care about the United Nations! Send our troops to Northern Ireland and prepare a invasion plan immediately!
- As you wish, Your Majesty.

The british forces massed at the border with Ireland and wait the order to attack. The units present there are:
-2x Armoured Brigades (14x Challanger III-U mbt battalions)
-5x Infantry Brigades (35x FRES battalions)
-4x Supply Brigades (28x Supply battalions)
-3x Fighter Wings (21x Eurofighter squadrons)
-1x Submarine Wolfpack (7x Astute class attack subs)

Battle Plan



Our ground forces will perform a circling maneuver around the capitol (Dublin) while the air force will launch attacks against the irish army surrounding Dublin with AS-29 Foelie anti-armor missiles and the navy will have the role of destroing any ship that exits the sea pier using ASX-2 Snoeken AShM missiles.

After Ireland refused the ultimatim given by King William, UK declares war on Ireland and the invasion begins at the same moment.

26 Feb 2024

The Phase 1 of the invasion is succesfull, the air force destroyed all combat units around the capitol, all that remained where the garrisons and 2 engineer battalions that wont pose to much of a threat.



The Phase 2 is ready to be launched, the main targets are 4 cities surrouning Dublin and the military base. After those objectives are taken, the capitol will be complitely surrounded by our ground forces. The air force will provide air support in the area.



27 Feb 2024

Two cities and the military base are secured, the other two will not last for too long, also 2 frigates are sunk in the port of Dublin by missiles launched from our submarines. Two Infantry Brigades begin the assault on the capitol.



6 hours laters all objectives are secured and the capitol falls to our invincible invasion force.
The capitol moves south to Cork, an assault plan is already ordered.



28 Feb 2024

3 Infantry Brigades are ordered to launch a rapid attack on Cork while 2 Armored Brigades move south to attack the city of Waterford.



Ireland surrenders before our forces reach their new capitol.



Casualties

-The British Armed Forces reported 344 men dead or wounded, 0 units lost
-51 irish units where destroyed in the attack.

Next day Sir Armstrong, the minister of war, went to meet the King
- Hello, Your Majesty.
- Sir Armstrong, I congratulate you for your brilliant invasion plan!
- Thank you, Your Majesty.
- Today after I saw that Ireland surrendered to our Great Kingdom, an extraordinary idea came to me.
- What idea?
- To rebuild our Great British Empire that fallen a long time ago, and become a worl Superpower again.
- That will be a long road, Your Majesty.
- I don't care how long will take to rebuild our Empire but we will succeed at any cost!
- Yes, Yor Majesty, we will succeed.
- Right! Make the preparations for our expansion. You are dismissed.

MEETING BETWEEN THE KING, WAR AND EXTERNAL AFFAIRS MINISTER
- Your Majesty, the tensions between us and the cipriots increased after the invasion of Ireland, our naval base in Akrotiri may be in danger if they declare war. (says Sir Dan Johnson - the minister of external affairs)
- I don't think they will declare war on us, Yor Majesty, but is a good idea to send some defence units there.
- Gentlemen (says the King while he raises of the chair), i have a better idea, it's the time to extend our presence in the Mediteranean sea by bringing Ciprus and Malta in the United Kingdom, they where part of our Empire.
- Yes, we will gain a strategic position in the Mediteranean sea for our future plans to expand in Africa. We shall ask Italy if they let us use one of their air bases in Sicily. (says Sir Armstrong)
- I don't think they will accept, Italy is allied with Malta
- I heard that an air field it's being built in Gibraltar, how long until it is finished Sir Armstrong?
- It's already finished Your Majesty
- Then we'll use Gibraltar as jump-off point to invade Malta and from Malta to Ciprus.

Operation Mediterana

2 Mar 2024

A Infantry Brigade (7x FRES battalions) is brought to Akrotiri by 4x 747-400ER airlift squadrons to defend the base and when it's time - to start the war.



3 Mar 2024

The 1st SAS Brigade embarked on a airlift squadron is ready to land on Valetta (capitol of Malta).
War is declared



The SAS Brigade succesfuly lands on Valleta and starts fighting with the maltese defence force on the streets of the city.



5 Mar 2024

The enemy is defeted and Valleta capured, Malta surrenders immediately.



UK declares war on Ciprus



6 Mar 2024

1st SAS Brigade lands on Nicosia (capitol) and 2nd SAS Brigade lands on Larnaca. The enemy forces are larger than expected, but we are confident that our forces will prevail.



8 Mar 2024

Heavy fighting is occuring in Nicosia between the 1st SAS and the enemy defense force.
The Infantry Brigade moves to help the SAS and destroy the enemy units outside of Nicosia.



9 Mar 2024

All enemy units outside of Nicosia where destroyed by the Infantry Brigades, now it concentrates on the city and waits to be supplied by a airlift squadron from Malta.



11 Mar 2024

The last enemy units defending Nicosia are obliterated and Ciprus surrenders withou any other resistance.



Casualties:
Malta:
-The British Armed Forces report 53 dead or wounded and no units lost.
-8 enemy units destroyed
Ciprus:
-The British Armed Forces report 913 dead or wounded and 1 unit lost (a SAS battalion fighting in Nicosia)
-104 enemy units destroyed

The next morning the King invites Sir Armstrong to a cup of tea:
- Sir Armstrong, come and sit down.
- Yes, Your Majesty.
- I want to congratulate you for bringing those two little countries into our Kingdom, but i also want to ask you what happen in Ciprus, I read the report and 913 casualties are a bit too much.
- I am sorry Your Majesty, but our intelligence reports supplied by MI6 on the enemy forces was not precise, the enemy forces where bigger than expected.
- I will have a talk with Sir Tomlinson (chief of intelligence) about that.

- Sir Armstrong, i called you here for another purpose. . . I want to ask you if Malta is secure?
- Yes Your Majesty, our forces control the entire island and no underground resistance was found, Why?
- The Queen wants to go and visit the Grandmaster's Palace and maybe stay there for a while



- Yes, Her Majesty can go at any time she wishes, I will make any preparations needed for her arrival.
- Good, you can go now Sir Armstrong.
- Thank you for the tea Your Majesty.

- What brings you here, Sir Johnson
- Your Majesty, I have some bad news, Bahams and Jamaica left the Commonwealth and broke all treaties with us.
- Hmm, i was planing my next holyday to be in Bahamas. . .
- What should we do Your Majesty?
- We are going to make them part of our Kingdom, if they don't want to be part of The Commonwealth. I will call for Sir Armstrong.

15 minutes later, Sir Armstrong arrives

- Hello, Your Majesty
- Sir Armstrong, I have a new task for you.

- You heard what happen in Bahamas and Jamaica, right?
- Yes, Your Majesty.
- I want you to plan a operation into that area and take all those beutiful islands back, so I can go there and enjoy my holyday. And try to not destroy anything!
- Yes, Your Majesty, Bahamas will be assaulted with special forces. But what about the other territories that belong to us. What should we do about those?
- Well, take them all. . .

After 36 hours, a strong amphibious force was ready to leave to Caraibes and Central America, also 2x SAS Brigades are ready to deploy from Puerto Rico.



Task Force Caraibes is consisted of:
-5 aircraft carriers (they are loaded with 6 transport helicopter and 9 fighter squadrons )
-9 cruisers (provide escort for the Task Force and will provide naval-shore fire support)
-2 amphibious assault ships (each carries a FRES Brigade)
-7 dock landing ships (they carry 4x FRES Brigades and 3x Supply Brigades)
-3 fleet replenishment ships (they are loaded with 30,000 tons of supplies)
A Submarine Wolfpack is already deployed to Puerto Rico

A few hours after The King gave the order to invade Bahamas, war is declared and the 1st SAS Brigade is on the way to Nassau.

25 Mar 2024

Nassau is secured, but the capitol changes to Freeport. 2nd SAS Brigade is ordered to assault the new capitol while 6 battalions of the 1st SAS Brigade regroups at Nassau Airport to re-embark and get ready for another mission.

26 Mar 2024

Freeport is secured, but because the city dosen't have an airport, 2nd SAS must remain there until the 6 transport squadrons based on the carriers are in range. Capitol moves to Marsh Harbour, 1st SAS Brigade is ordered to assault the city.

27 Mar 2024

Marsh Harbour is secured, again, the city dosen't have an airport, so the 2nd SAS is stranded on the island until the carriers arrive. Capitol moves to Nocholls Town - the assault is postponed because of transporting problems.

7 April 2024

6 tilt-rotor transport squadrons arive at Marsh Harbour and 6 battalions from 2nd SAS embark to assault Nocholls Town. The city is taken without resistance.

8 April 2024

Bahamas surrenders.



St. Kits and Newis is dow-ed and 1st SAS Brigade is assigned the task to assault the capitol

St. Kits and Nevis surrenders after the 3 garrisons defending the city are obliterated. 1st SAS Brigade re-embarks at the airport and gets ready for the next mission.

Tobago island is secured, fightings continue in Port of Spain but enemy troops defending the city are in retreat and bombed by fighters

- I already know this Sir Armstrong, tell me about Bahamas, i want to go there as soon as possible.

Operation Holyday in Bahamas

The King and The Queen embarked in their Royal Transport aircraft to go to Bahamas. Sir Armstrong assigned 3 RAF Eurofighters to escort the Royal Transport.



22 April 2024

After a long flight across the Atlantic, the Royal Transport arives at Nassau Airport. The island will be patroled by 3 cruisers: HMS Victory, HMS Drake and HMS Vanguard and the US Navy frigate USS Howard.



Also, 1st and 2nd Royal Guards where assigned the task to guard the island and protect The King and The Queen.

War is declared on Guyana (British Guyana), 1st SAS brigade is assigned to assault Linden (capitol city) and 2nd SAS brigade is assigned to assault Georgetown. Both will take of from Trinidad. A submarine wolfpack is near the coast to destroy any ship that may exit the ports.



23 Apr 2024

Linden and Georgetown are secured, the capitol moves to New Amsterdam. A landing force composed of 2 FRES brigades is on the way to assault the new capitol. After that, this brigades will remain here as a defensive force.

The brigades land at Georgetown and are moving towards the New Amsterdam

War is declared on Nicaragua, the heroic 1st SAS brigade will open the invasion by assaulting Bluefields to provide the dock landing ships a sea pier where they can unload the invasion force when they arive and take the airfield to be used by the 1st Naval Fighter Wing based on Caiman islands. Also the 2nd Cruiser Squadron will provide naval-shore gun fire, air defence and sea defence.



2 May 2024

Bluefields is taken, the fighter wing moves in to the air field. 3 enemy infantry battalions aproaching Bluefields where destroyed by naval fire.

The invasion force landed, 1st Infantry Division is ready to strike deep in Nicaragua supported by 1st Naval Fighter Squadron.

The plan used in Ireland wil be used here too, a circling maneuver around the urban aglomeration folowed by a encirclement and a full concentrated assault.

2 cities where taken, 1st and 3rd brigades begin to assault the capitol supported by air strikes on enemy units while the 4th brigade is ordered to go around and strike from the rear, 2nd brigade will follow soon.

The capitol Managua falls but the assault continues on the urban aglomeration



After 6 hours the area is cleared of enemy garrisons and units.



11 May 2024

Capitol moves to Chinandega, 2nd brigade is ordered to assault the city



Chinandega is secured and Nicaragua surrenders.

Operation Columbus, part 3

After the King returned from his hollyday, he called Sir Armstrong to report the situation in Caraibes.

-Sir Armstrong, come in. .
-Your Majesty, how was your holyday?
-It was perfect, tell me what is the current situation in Central America
-Well, we secured the majority of territories that belonged to the Empire, only Jamaica and Belize remained independent for now, the operation is on stand by.
-Stand by?
-Yes, we gave our troops some rest after the continuous operations.
-Thats good, also I heard about the heroism of the 1st SAS Brigade, they destroyed more enemies than any unit in our great army.
-Yes Your Majesty, they are the best soldiers we have
-After the operation is complete and they return home i want to meet them.
-Yes, Your Majesty, anything else
