I have discussed a possible game with some players about possible interest for a game.

-Reliable players
-Using Modern Day Campaign mod
-Using Hamachi

Player - Country(countries can be changed until we start)
Hullu Hevonen - France
Zero007 - Russia
Kigge - China
Vuk-Wolf - UK
Sergey Golovko - USA

I'm in, as for rules:
Realistic- good with me.
Hamachi- I tend to have better luck with Hamachi than Gameranger.
MDC- also good with me, but I'll leave that up to the other players to decide.
Times look good, just do note I may be moving in 2 weeks, shouldn't be an issue though, depending on what my work schedule is.

I would prefer

-Realistic Game Play
-Max 6 players
-Games would likely be played somewhere around/in 16-22.00GMT timeframe.
-Reliable players
-preferably Modded(MDC works fine for me, though i'm also open for other mods).
-Hamachi, my gameranger is screwed, wont run, the instal wont work, stoped working when I installed/tried the IE9 Beta. :-(

Siting there quiet untill all hell breaks out and then join west? sounds good.

I have a question before i take a nation. are we going on the ways of the cold war? more or less the larger nations on the two sides fight proxy wars and only is allowed to go into direct war with eatch other if one side directly gets too eager and directly gets involved too much in these proxy wars?

I think this is more appropriate. Being that it is a Cold War scenario, it makes sense that it should involve primarily large nations. I think China+Russia versus US+India+UK/France/Brazil is perfect.

The name Cold War II was inspirade by the competitiveness between the big players during the first Cold war. I thought to maybe take Britain or China :-) , if someone wats either of those then i'll take the one thats left :-)

Edit: should we get something up and running this weekend?

This weekend works for me, despite me noticing this kind of late.

As for schedule and times, I just found out I won't be moving for another 6 months, but, I may be out of town next week, still debatable though.

For nations, I think I'll try Whatever large nation is left over in Europe, such as France. I've never played them much, so should be fun. :)

I have to object to having player controlled France AND Germany. We should focus on the Cold War aspect of the game, and Russia+US+India+China should take priority as far as players go, and though few want to play as China and India, it is necessary if the scenario is to work.

I'm even going to contradict my above statement now, as I am willing to take Russia or the US
