At this point, given your self-imposed tech restrictions, I'd be building a couple or more complexes of research facilities. When you have 24+ research facilities humming along, you will bang out all available researches fairly quickly. In the mid-90s, research wise, is when you start getting the ones with a bonus. This will quickly move your tech level up and give you even more to research. In 5 years, you should have surpassed the US in research/tech level. Then you can start building XAVs or something else that will trounce those LAV-5As.

When you get to the point where you have more research facilities than research to do, start shutting them down until you need them again. This has the effect of reducing the costs associated with research as well as slightly increasing your reserve personnel pool.

Washington (Reuters) -- Persistent rumours circulating recently in military and diplomatic circles that four fully-loaded San Antonio-class LPDs and two Wasp-class LHDs and several escorting warships belonging to the US Navy were sunk were hotly denied by a spokesman for the US Department of Defense. The location of the alledged sinkings is also hotly disputed, with the most assumptions placing the sinkings in the northern Pacific between Hawaii and Alaska. The North Korean news agency KCNA has not yet issued a statement, which is unusual if the sinkings were real and the work of the Korean People's Navy.

An intriguing aspect of this story is that several illegal weblogs of South Korean citizens in Seoul report the execution by firing squad of DPRK Vice-Admiral Kim Gung-Ho two days ago. It is not yet known whether the rumours from the DPRK and the US Navy are true, nor whether they are related.

Thanks to the overpowering spirit of the Korean people, this did not serious set back the time plan for the invasion of the mainland, and the Korean People's Navy rapidly closed on Alaska, securing a number of oil platforms from the enemy.



Finally the DPRK's worker-peasant soldiers are ashore on the continental United States and advance under the banner of the DPRK and the Korean Worker's Party!



Anchorage has now fallen and is safe from any attempt the feeble and complacent enemy can make to retake it!

Comrade Vuk-Wolf, as you say, the geographical proximity makes this spot even more of an obvious candidate for an invasion for Russia than for North Korea. Indeed, I would suppose that it is a little easier for Russia as well. North Korean ships suffer from extremely short range, originally built to defend and/or infiltrate the Korean littoral. Supply problems at sea are currently considerably larger than those on land.

The second argument in favour of Alaska for the first invasion spot is its relatively weak garrisoning forces. I don't think I encountered more than ten non-garrison units in all of Alaska.

Also watch out for American airforce.With Russia i stopped because had no supply.I decided to send out supply planes there but same minute dozens of Delta raptors showed up.So my adivice is not sending any kind of planes there.

Pyongyang (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the National Defence Commission has acknowledged on Korean radio today that all economically and strategically important parts of Alaska have been conquered by the DPRK's brave forces.



Pyongyang (KCNA) -- The courageous sailors of the Korean People's Navy continue to press the attack! Bypassing neutral Canada, with whom the DPRK has never had a serious quarrel, the proud Korean fleet approaches the shores of the north-eastern United gangster-States.



Puget Sound is quickly secured and our daring and heroic amphibious forces land in Oak Harbor and Mt. Vernon, securing both towns quickly and with low losses to themselves.



A fanatical counter-attack by the misguided enemy using a large number of tanks is repulsed with heavy losses. The invasion forces prepare for the next assault on Everett and await reinforcements from Korea.



Pyongyang (KCNA) -- Our Dear Leader has taken some time off to help the peasants in Collective Farm 305 prepare their banquet for the birthday of our Eternal Leader Kim Il Sung. He gave guidance on how to prepare a perfect roast goose. Most important, he was said to remark, is to clean the bird properly, apply salt and pepper on the outside and in, put an apple and an onion inside and close the bird up with needles or string. (Non-propaganda mode) -- That was really hard. The US Army is equipped mostly with GMT-2As and laser infantry, although they sent M60s against the landing site as well. Still, I lost about 10% of my fleet in this operation (including a lot of irreplacable Japanese ships) and probably about 90% of the ground invasion force. The whole operation is hanging on a thread right now.

It seems u chosen wrong place for landing...When US units are already grouped there in north i found good place for new landing when u rebuild your forces.
There are both baracks and ports in fort bragg so i think it will be good landing zone plus it will be some time until US forces come there

Pyongyang (KCNA) -- Following the arrival of our glorious 2nd Guards Tank Army from Korea, the bridgehead in the Washington State of the United States of America could be expanded and the offensive resumed.



Strongholds held by the feeble gangster-enemy such as Spokane, Portland and Seattle quickly fell to our dauntless and tenacious troops.



Even the so-called "wonder weapons" of the fascists could not help the misguided enemy against the lionhearted onslaught of the DPRK's armies.





By now, an area as large as Korea has been liberated from the imperialists!!



In an act of clemency following these spectacular victories, our Dear Leader has decided to pardon Comrade Vuk-Wolf.

I must say, fighting the USA with the DPRK's army is still a somewhat daunting task, even if it may all look quite straightforward from the pictures. The enemy is everywhere, and the front is getting incredibly long. The US Air Force seems to be in love with the F-112 Blackbird II, which is an incredibly bothersome aircraft since it is very high-flying and not easily discouraged by air defence systems. For the time being, I appear to have beaten these aircraft back, but who knows when the next wave will appear.

What is paying off is the arms deal with Libya, which gave me the Fahd-40 APC and the Al-Khalid tank. The Al-Khalid is doing much better than the T-72s and T-62 that I was using previously.

What is also going quite well is the technology race with the USA. They still lead by exactly 30 levels (126 against my 96), but their lead is not increasing any more. The US treasury is still positive, but the debt of the US is growing massively. I expect them to start having problems any time soon.

To counter the F-112s, I have bought the MiG-25 interceptor design from Russia, which I think is quite legitimate. The tech level being 96 now (and no North Korean tank model in sight!) I have decided to buy the T-90s from Russia, which I will roleplay as the M-2001 P'okpoong-Ho. Seriously, though, where is the P'okpoong-Ho?? I had hoped it would appear in the equipment files sooner or later. North Korea has gained only three units that were non-worldwide buildable since tech level 90, one missile design in 96 and two patrol boats earlier on.
