The war in southern Europe continues as Italy and the Ukraine join forces and shortly after Italy declares war on France.
In northern Europe our forces meet with yet another victory as Denmark and all of her territories surrender to the might of the Russian Federation. Greenland is now in our fold and several of our submarine flotillas and ASW and Patrol Aircraft set course to rebase there and begin patrolling for US and Canadian convoys. Once Norway and Iceland are under our control we will have gained complete control over basing in the North Atlantic. Phase II of Operation Northface can now begin.

Spain enters into the alliance with Italy and the Ukraine and within the day the Netherlands declare war on Spain. Austria, managing to stay neutral considering all of the conflict completely surrounding her, states that enough is enough and declares war on the overly aggressive Italy.

Italy and Spain declare complete war against the Western Alliance members of Romania, Iceland, Norway, Netherlands, Canada, US, Israel, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, Croatia, Slovenia, and the UK. Our diplomatic teams in Spain and Italy have been working to seek any form of diplomacy as we have been in the Ukraine, and several other southern European countries. The door remains to be shut to the Russian Federation. Perhaps the powers of this shadow organization have their influence in more countries than we have expected. For now this is working to our advantage as we are able to manipulate the pieces of the chess board to meet our initial objectives. Southern Europe is a mess, we will let them fight while we secure the north. The GRU continues to monitor any information to this mysterious puppeteer and is doubling efforts to determine just how far ranging they are and what their goals are.

Our forces have made their presence known in Norway now in several locations. The 1st Provisional Army has made its march across the northern coast of Norway despite a delay of 3 days. We had to divert at least a quarter of Transport Aviation Commands West lighter logistics aircraft to the Kola Peninsula to help air supply the 1st Provisional Army at about the halfway point to their first objective. The commander of the 1st Provisional Army has been pulled from his command and replaced with a younger commander that understands details rather than glory. The arrogant commander was lucky to not be shot on the spot to make a point. Instead he will be demoted and become commander of the new supply depot scheduled to be built at the very dismal and isolated place his army ran out of gas.
The Northern Fleet and Nothern Fleet Naval Infantry sat idol in our territorial waters until the 1st Provisional Army was rolling again and were underway by the 27th. They conducted two successful landings securing a naval base and air field. The 1st Provisional Army should merry up with the NFNI within a day or two and can begin rolling south.
In Norway's south, intelligence reports showed that many towns on the southern coast did not have any troops or garrisons at all and the 98th Airborne Division and 76th Air Assault Divisions quickly seized as many towns as possible and set up defensive positions while the the Baltic Fleet and her limited amount of LST transports started landing artillery, air defense, and AT units of the 6th Army. We are working on securing the port in Stavanger. Once Stavanger is secured our larger transports should be able to get heavier forces to bolster our slowly growing beachead in the south.
The Russian Federation currently has air superiority although at least 4 squadrons of Norwegian F-35 JSF have been making their appearance launching what seems to be harassing strikes. These are dangerous aircraft and 3 squadrons of our new SU-37s have been rebased in Denmark to help counter this threat along with 1 Fighter Division of Su-27s and Mig-29s to ensure our air superiority.
