In regards to the events system (12) ai requests

I noticed on the wiki that it says to use (number of units requested) in the i1 slot.... so if I would like a larger force...say 30 battalions to respond to a location request should I be putting the actual number of bats in that slot like this

or should I be using the &&aiforcesize (1smallest,2forcesizesmall,3forcesize mid, 4etc,5largest) in the AIparams.csv as my go to for the unit quantity slot in the request file.

like this if I would like a large force to respond.

I usually combine my ai requests with bz prompts as well as hotspots so I can't really give a definitive answer as to which way works for defining the airequest through trial and observing...
units seem to go where I want them to go regardless but I've recently started writing stand alone ai requests for low level missions that I don't want to define hotspots for etc.

I guess I can just write a few sample files and try them in a scenario with no other active events to come to a conclusion but you could probably just answer my question without me having to do that so here is that... my question.
