transferring units from SRU to SR2030
I need a batchfile converter similar to the xtocmo converter that can flip the direction a unit faces in the game.... I can flip my units manually or I can learn how to make a compiler on assimp.... I have like 700 units I that are facing backwards in my game...if anybody knows of an existing app that I can simply drop a .x or .obj or .cmo file into and group convert them to simply face the other direction it will save me a ton of time and energy and I'll greatly appreciate it.

We are currently working on an updated to the modding tools so it can import and SRU equipment file and export an SR2030 file. After that we'll work on the tech tree import/convert/export.

My unit file is done... I just reformatted my csv and then imported it into the content editor and processed it it all works fine....my models which faced forward in SRU now move faceing backwards...like moonwalking... I can fix them by altering the x and z axis to -1 in the x file prior to processing it in the x to cmo batchfileconverter.... that works but it will take me a long time to do all of my units. I was wondering if there is an existing app that I can aquire that already has this feature built into it so that I can just drop a group of files into it and have them reprocessed more efficiently....
it's just my land sea and air units...all of my facilty models re-rendered fine.

Re: transferring units from SRU to SR2030
In regards to my experience with the content editor I've found using the BigCsv editor app from the microsoft store works fine for preparing to process csv data in the content editor... it's free and works pretty well... it doesn't process quotations but the content editor will re-do that if you import your altered data as a .csv and manually choose which type of file you want the editor to output.... as long as the appropriate header is defined with all of the neccesary columns it will re-process fine...
the only thing that would have improved the efficiency of my transition data on BG's end would have been to have left gaps in the files for the ease of transitioning modded files.... example would be my news items which are now re-id and completely transferred, I started at the end of the News Items file for SRU which meant that transferring the News items over to the 2030game conflicted with the news items ID's that were added to SR 2030.... I then had to go through my scenario events file and re write the new ID into the events system....next time I'll just start numbering my custom items far in advance of numerical orders to avoid having that happen again...
otherwise the content editor works fine I don't have any complaints about it anyway... I think it's a useful tool as it is.

annnd done. my entire SRU game now operates on SR2030 engine. took me 5 full working days but everything is now transferred and in great working order. that's a huge chore off my plate that I have been dreading doing but am now thrilled that it is complete lol. and as a bonus I now have x files of my units both in normal and facing position and facing the other direction....just in the case...lol.... I'd rather store the two seperate copy's than have to do that again but an added bonus is I've completed the y-axis height map for every single unit in the game now. subs are the lowest seated items aircraft carriers seat higher than any ship but still lower than every land unit..... ... strategic bombers and some rockets seat the highest.... ww1 planes fly lower than ww2 planes and modern planes fly higher than ww2 planes annnnd.... for land units tanks sit highest... combat vehicles second highest, anti-tanks and arty 3rd highest, footsoldiers and horses basic transportation vehicles like the kubelwagon seat the lowest.....
