yes I'm sure it is buddy just thought they look pretty different from the stuff we already have in-game

Re: 3D modelling
They do. A modern twin engined transport aircraft in particular is something I do not think there is in-game.
Also Finally more or less done with the Type 21 Frigate and Udaloy. That Udaloy model is probably the oldest one so far as it is adapted from something I made around 10 years ago.
Udaloy has more complex shading and generally use more varied colours than the Type 21 but I think the Type 21 works as it is.

Re: 3D modelling
Yes your right something that is missed within the original models
10 years that's a while ago still looks great though as does the Type 21 look forward to using it

Re: 3D modelling
The texture and UV map have been almost completely redone which is really the most noticeable part (and what takes the most time to do). The mesh is what is mostly intact as it has only been cleaned to make it lighter and have had a few props added here and there.
I actually have a decent number of really old Soviet era warship models but the texture quality is way too poor for me to even consider using them as they are. They might serve as a good starting point though.

Re: 3D modelling
I really just use a master template to export the models from which allows me to set a common scale for all of them that is roughly okay.
Like I have said before this really is more of a modding resource than an actual mod.
Also more warships
I might still make a few tweaks but they are largely done. Note that the Queen Elizabeth model have had changes made since I posted the incomplete version so I suggest using this one when it is released.

Re: 3D modelling
I have added a version of UNIT1658U.dds that hopefully fixes transparency issues with that file to the repository.
Also some US cold war cruisers and a Yasen class submarine.
I hope to have something released this month but as always no guarantees.

Re: 3D modelling
I can try. I think I already got enough defence reference material for it. Might be a bit before I get around to it. I got a decent number of aircraft and warships to finish off first.

Re: 3D modelling
More US warship.
USS Albany is one of the most detailed models in terms of tris count largely owing toe the Talos and Tartar launchers as well as all the tracking radars for these systems. It is however still comparable to character models you might find on a PS2.
This also means I finally got around to finishing SCB 125 USS Intrepid. It is only from like mid 2017...
Also some older aircraft. I have already posted a few of these but anyway. The F-86 and F-86D will probably not have all regional textures available on release. The others will really only have a single one except for optional textures.
My goal right now is mainly to finish off already in progress models and actually get something converted but my time is a bit limited right now. Still it should not be that much work all things considered.

Re: 3D modelling
hello all fans and all modders
i have a simple request , i hope you can taking my request seriously
As everyone knows we are fans of this game Long ago , And we seek from this place to help raise the level of realism of the game from good to better , By making some requests To improve the quality of military units and other equipments etc .... in the game
I hope to find interaction from members and modders for my request
As everyone knows there are much old model in much units like the anti air defense systems like patriot and the other units...
there are some units have an old model in the game
You must change it if you can
We start with air defense systems first :
Patriot MIM-104B (Pack 1) + (Pack2) + (Pack3)
Versions of S-300
1- S-300vm/antey-2500
Note that the ranges of the response and the Detection of targets are different
and i can send you an information of all the versions of the s300
versions of the BUK anti-air missile
1-Buk M1
1-Buk M2
3-Buk M3
Note that the ranges of the response and the Detection of targets are different
Thaad system (Made by USA)
Aster 30 SAMP/T (Made by France)
Aster 30 SAMP/T Mamba (Made by France)
Pantsir S1 & S2 (made by russia)
and if you have an information about the range and the detecting of targets of these units i can help you and put in replay all information about these units
and there are some other units have an old model i will put some infromation and picture in other replay about these others units
i hope u can work for these units and create a new model for these units
one last question,
when some new models created
Is it possible to find them in the next update of the game or should I download files and add them in the game folders manually

Re: 3D modelling
erm I get what you mean but at least the first 2 units on your list already have new models in the game made by Nerei himself.
so its probably best you have a look through his models and through the 74 pages here first?

Re: 3D modelling
To be fair the MIM-104 PAC3 Patriot I made is with a JSDF Type 73 tractor so you can argue for also making one with a Oshkosh HEMTT M983. The S-300 is also on a MAZ truck. I want to do a HEMTT at some point which lends itself well to also making THAAD and a M983. I also already got an incomplete Pantsir somewhere.
I also have plans for the BUK M1 but I do not want to give any timeframe for it. That is really my approach for all models.
The rest my happen I do not know yet. I will put them on my list but it should not be a great surprise that it is fairly long already.
Currently I am mainly focusing on finishing textures for the next release. I am probably not going to start any new models at this time or work on anything that is far from finished.
After that I might give this project low priority or even put it on pause for some time. I do not have much time right now anyway so the loss will be limited and I will just end up stressing if I start making deadlines even just for myself.
Taking time off and coming back fresh might also be the more productive option long term.
