It was at peace with everyone else like whole world, but I gave up on this game - 30-60 secs/year on fastest speed would be fine on max volatility, unpredictable ai and very hard military diffuculty 20 yeas after beginning.SGTscuba wrote:Japan always seems to have lots of units deployed, out of interest, is Japan at war with anyone or is it also during peacetime?
What is typical game speed?

Re: What is typical game speed?
Any news on game being too slow on most peaceful settings?
On beginning of game 4 secs pass every ingame day on max speed.
Does enchanced spotting/ranges slow down game?

Return of the stacking bug from SRCW? Or new variation of it produced by situation of too many air units and not enough air fields so they need to keep transferring from one base to another?

Re: What is typical game speed?
4sec per day is considered optimal, we won't be trying to make it faster than than.
For later gameplay, yes, enhanced spotting would have some impact. Not ranges though.
Did we ever put a ticket number on this issue? I feel like I got a savegame from you for this...

Quoting my old post - yea, but apparently its easily missable as ticket number is only in this post title (21630)Balthagor wrote:4sec per day is considered optimal, we won't be trying to make it faster than than.

What should be optimal game speed on most peaceful settings - very easy military, passive ai and no volatility 10 - 20 years into game?raxo2222 wrote:I can upload attachments only up to 2 MB, and save game has 7 MB when compressed.Balthagor wrote:If you'd like, send over your savegame and I'll test it out. Please zip the file before sending. Include ticket 21630 in your subject line.
So I'll use external upload site.
Does it actually matter if I send savegame trough forum post or email?
CPU is Intel i3-3220 and it has nice 3.3 GHz

Oops, missed that. Thanks.
No progress on that issue yet.
We don't have a benchmark speed for later game years. Our goal is "as close as possible to 4sec/day" but that's still not were we are at.
