Nice review indeedCommanders used to almost tactical control over battlefields will instead have to think more strategically. Not only does every unit need to be employed in some way to gain victory, but you also have to think well ahead of the current battle. If you think a unit should be in reserve to help out if an attack stalls, then you better start moving them into place weeks or months before they are needed. If you wait until the situation at the front is critical, they will probably never arrive in time.
