1936 start is unplayably broken due to the economy scaling.

Post by amynase »

I am playing as Soviet Union in 1936 start, it is currently 1944.
Since I know that Petroleum can be a huge issue in WW2 starts, I modded the game so there is 10x as much Petroleum produced at the start of the game.
Its no use, the broken production system keps scaling down the Petroleum production all over the world.
At this point there is not even 1/10th of the amount neeeded produced in the world, and less than 1/10th of what was produced at the start of the game.
Still the economy system reduces how much Petroleum is produced every day, the problem only keeps getting bigger and bigger.
Without Petroleum theres no industry goods, no military goods, I cant build or produce units anymore, the game is unplaybaly broken when you start in WW2.
Had the exact same issue when I played unmodded, that's why I modded it.

Here's the savegame: NoPetroleum.SAV

I'm playing a game as Spain, started 36. I'm still in '42 but it's manageable.
