IN my game last night and ill grant you it was only one test so far.. GB and france fell almost as soon as the sinking of the sealiner that gave me (the US) the CB to enter the war. Even if I had declared war they would have fallen before i could even get troops into the theatre.. not sure what the issue/solution is here TBH or if it was just a fluke. I had been gifting units to GB on a steady basis but it's likely that none of them made it to the UK homeland before they fell..

In my game, WW1 dragged on until 1922 and Germany fell. Austro-Hungary fell in 1916 if I remember correctly. Millions still died though. The Russians had Berlin surrounded for about 4 years before they managed to take it. I didn't really partake in WW1 other than some fighting in Africa and the endgame of the war in Europe. I'm playing as Columbia out of interest.

Mine was the 1914 sandbox.

In my 1914 sandbox, Great Britain held on until 1920. I would suggest it was a random thing.

That's good to hear.. i was rather surprised when germany invaded and took london within months of war starting. I didn't have line of sight but from what i could see of borders moving the whole bogged down trench warfare never happened... UK and france fell within a year of the war starting. Very hard military and enhanced ranges and spotting off.. all other default/medium options.
