I personally consider this to be an improbable wishlist item. I'd love to see it, but I just don't see it happening. My favorite compromise solution has always lain with my hope for the game editor to give us that power. It's not an ideal option, but it would give us the ability to adjust borders in game so those of us that it bothers can correct it on our own that way. That's my preferred realistic solution when it comes to this specific issue.
