1. Facilities reconstruction: Enemy facilities get damaged while being captured and do not auto repair. AI even never ever bother to repair any facilities if they invade some country or reconquer their land. AI should be able to repair the captured/damaged facilities.
2. Buying Excessive Weapons From AI: User should be able to buy some of their reserved weapons from AI without getting into an alliance.
3. Upgraded Weapons: Updating the inventory of all countries will also be a nice step. For instance, Egypt bought or going to buy, 24 Rafale fighter jets, a naval frigate; 2 French-made Mistral naval helicopter carriers, 46 Kamov Ka-52 attack helicopters; 762 MaxPro MRAPS, 50 Mig-35 Fighter jets, and 4 U-209 submarines.
4. Updated Stats: Updating economy and resources related stats will also be a good step, for instance, Pakistan GDP will grow by 5% in 2017 from 4.45%. New shale oil & gas reserves of around 20 TCF and 385 million barrels of oil were also recently found.
5. Upgrading Graphics: A little less gloomy UI is also a must.

Have I been gone that long? Have you forgotten that I don't announce a feature until I've tested it as working three times over? :)

Since we know that units and the map work, could you give us a screenshot of a new unit model or of a famous part of the map? (Like Verdun maybe?) Cant wait to see some ingame stuff :D

I've got one more, this one would be incredibly useful and make the game a 100 times more interesting, but I don't know if it is possible due to engine stuff.

A cheat like saddam, but with an option to select specific regions, say that regions have codes or numbers, 15 is Belarus, 30 is Poland and you want them to fight, you'd just type ,,saddam 15vs30" or something like that and that's it. Current random saddam cheat is pretty pointless, because you usually only get stuff like Laos vs Czech, Andorra vs Angola, etc. Sometimes the game just gets really boring and nothing fun is happening, so this would do miracles.

I know that there is something called ,,proxy wars possible from this region" and it might have something to do with this, but I have no idea what it means.

Also, this is probably impossible, but an even better thing would be if you could switch countries, at least to a limited degree, so that you can use for example North Korea to get China and Russia as their allies and then declare war on South Korea, after which you switch back to your country and enjoy. :)

I really think the Naval AI needs upgrading to be able to use fleets and carriers properly. Maybe even escort any amphib ops they go on.

I'm looking forwards to the pre-dreadnaughts and playing some smaller countries!

One feature I'd love expecially for the infantry heavy combat of WW1 would be the ability to produce infantry and cavalry in barracks, while Artillery and all motorized aswell as later tanks should be built in military factories. Imo for this scenario it would just be perfect to allow for those really massive numbers of Ground infantry on the frontline. :-)

No. Not at all in fact.

What do you mean ?
Turkey from monarchy (sultanate/caliphate) to republic
Germany from monarchy to democracy
Austro-Hungary from monarchy to democracy + resurrecting of long dead reagions

Or do you mean coups only?!

Respectfully Zuikaku: thats totally wrong

All of the ones you describe were a CONSEQUENCE of The Great war. And NOT something that took place DURING the Great war.

Turkey: 1922
Germany: 1919 (Weimar Republic)
Austro-Hungary: October 1918

All of them after WW 1 - except Russia ... as I wrote.

Also I might point out that the Victors had changes too, all though less radical ... but also AFTER the war.

The Devs have said that the focus will be the great war...

But what's your point?! I'm talking here about wishlist and possible consequences of coups and wars lost. And all of these are historicall examples that are here to justify feature requests. So, coups can result in government change and release of non-loyal hexes and wars lost can result in government change - and all of this really happened. Fits perfectly with features requested. Where is the problem? Does the game ends when the date hits January 1st 1919??? :-) I'm not talking about Great War, but improvements that woul'd change gameplay of Supreme Ruler and make it more interesting.

Not sure how much focus there will be on countries outside Europe/North America but China can basically be said to go from a parliamentary democracy to a totalitarian republic to a totalitarian monarchy then back to a totalitarian republic and finally back to a parliamentary democracy roughly from 1914 to 1916.
Pretty much all of this is due to President Yuan Shikai grabbing power through constitutional reforms, forming his own monarchist faction that crowns him emperor triggering a civil war and secessionist movement forcing him to abdicate and returning to being a tyrannical despot without a hereditary title. After his death the parliament and constitution is then restored.

There is also the Manchu restoration in 1917 in which child emperor Puyi was briefly put back on the throne by a royalist warlord before republican troops kicked him out again.
The last bit is definitely more civil war than just changing government but the game does not really handle civil wars at all so the closest we can come to it might be to be allowed to change government.

Yes China was a mess.
For the record I am not saying that the early ROC was amazingly democratic but considering what countries are considered democracies in this game it would probably qualify.

I'd like to see a game console for us. I don't want to waste my time ruining relations with the country of my choice and make them FINALLY declare war on me (I want them to declare war on me, not me declare war on them |O .) Or to use cheats (cheat saddam and cheat saddamme) because if if saddamme makes a country declare war on you, its a random country. Not one of your choice.

So like a game console to make select country's declare war on you, or on another select country, and to switch control of countries for scenarios, etc.

This would be great for good role playing of alternate scenarios and I would really appreciate it if you would add that in (I need that for SRU as well xD!!).

But you can already achieve all this through modding of scenarios if you're trying to create alternate scenarios. It seems like just a way to get around the intended consequences of your actions. I cannot see how we could justify allocating dev resources to such a feature. If you'd like to discuss this one further, I'd suggest a separate thread and discuss more of how this adds significantly to the gameplay and see if you can get community support for this idea.

With a very short dev cycle on SRGW, we will be very tight on where we spend dev time. It's the only way we can meet the deadlines we've set for ourselves.
