I would like to test out SU multiplayer, so I'm in.
Leaving on diplo merchant and having weather off feels a bit unrealistic to me, but it probably makes for a more playable experience.

We should try finding close dates when we know we can play.
And if something comes up you'll have to say that in advance.

When can you play (Greenwich time)

As a retiree, I can commit to any time, what works for you? The game I was recently trying to play we scheduled at 2000 hrs.

Concerning diplo MM, I have not played very much SRU at all. A few hours. Most of my time has been trying to find answers for questions on Steam or here. The only time I even noticed Diplo MM was when I turned it off. I was testing something as USA and some small country in Africa purchased some units from me. The units appeared on map and stayed sitting in the USA, nothing I could do to get rid of them. I assumed it was because the nation that purchased them has no transport units and since Diplo MM was off, they just sat in my borders.

Weather? Never noticed it affected anything in game, but again, I have not played much SRU and never any time frame other than 2020. If you want it on, we can set it on, negative perspiration.

Well, it only affects battle slightly, while I've heard it adds lag. We can go without it if you want.

And when you mentioned it, I've had the same problem with diplo MM off too. Let's have it on.

Sorry for not answering yesterday, I was working with school until 10, so I had no time.
I can play RIGHT NOW, but you probably cannot. We could choose a time next week if you want.
Should I contact you on steam?

Well I have my favourites.
I think I'll go with Sweden, the Phillipines, Kanada, Bangladesh or Egypt.
Depending on which region you want to play.
It's funnier if we're somewhat close to eachother to avoid having to send our militaries halfway around the world when someone needs help. Not neighbours, but maybe in at least two bordering continents.
Also I like small countries, but maybe that's not your style.

I would not mind still trying India. Only played a couple of hours in the other game session. As you want to be somewhat close, would that mean you will play Bangladesh?

No details yet, Jolly us the only one to show interest, well and you now I guess. I planned on playing on Hamachi, as it was what we used for the other apparently failed game. It is still new to me, hamachi, but it seemed to work and Gameranger has these annoying adds now.

This is taking longer than necessary to get going. I am ready to play, anyone that can play and would like to play, post a date/time to start and lets get going.

Kristijonas - go ahead and send me a friend request on Steam, if you have not already. We can get this ball rolling.

Jolly, you still here?

Maybe you use facebook? We are already playing often with a German player. We could play with more people.

I'm here.
Yeah if you play India I'll go ahead and choose another Asian country. Maybe Bangladesh would be fun, giving about a big small brother relation between the two nations.

How about Wednesday 14:00 London time?

If my math is correct, 1400 Zulu is 9pm EST and 1900 local. Which would be ok. Kristijonas?

What is book in the face? :)

Prefer to leave it out. we already have the game, Steam and Hamachi in the mix. Bad enough with 2 totally unnecessary pieces of software to deal with already.

I tend to agree with Joe. Multiplayer has gotten complicated enough using only steam and hamachi.

That's alright, just it's easier to arrange times on facebook or any other frequently used (by many) social medias. I don't check bgforums as often as I do fb :D Anyway, would you agree to play on Gameranger? I would prefer it over Hamachi a lot.
