So you're saying that others had expected it. Interesting. I however see nothing in your response that counters their assertion that the ice is melting more than before. Are you saying they are wrong in their observations? That they screwed up the results? That this is some giant conspiracy to fool me into being concerned about Arctic ice melting? I don't tend to take any note when they project dates of when things will happen/change beyond "close" and "far". I'm inclined to believe these ppl when they say the ice was there before and the ice is not there now.

There is another wave of solar flares comming at the Earth next month, but the Global Warming Scientist don't account for this and there are others saying that our 30yr old solar storm is over. The acctual truth is between the lines. Last winter CFB Resolute was virtually ice free, but CFS Atute had more ice than usual, don't figure!!!

^the date given here is now an impossibility.It always was,but now even the believers have to accept that and re-stance with another date of doom.Which of course they are doing,Hence the tripe you posted.

The whole stance here was already admitted to being impossible by the IPCC itself,AFTER other people questioned it and pointed it out as a scientific impossibility.

Again,not only is the 2013 now scientifically impossible beyond rational questioning,but his stance is even more so as he goes on to claim the date of that stance was "conservative". Which in simple words, means it would likely happen sooner according to him.

Now when tripe like this is put forth by the likes of Harold Camping (the rapture preacher),likely even you spotted the pile of bull .When his first date passed,and he re-stanced with other dates,likely even you would have called him on it.But then again,its much easier to call a loon a loon when it doesnt put your own beliefs at risk...Applying rational thought to something personally believed in,for many people,is another matter entirely.

Ive lost count on how many of these US "green job " companies have folded,and cost the US huge amounts of cash,but if it hasnt yet, its likely to reach at least 12.With a cost of more than $6.5 Bil.

Another new study shows that about 1/2 of the claimed warming is unquestionably false.That one simple unquestionably purposeful practice,that of manipulating the actual temperature data to make the data show higher than actual temperatures the world over,is responsible for a hugely inaccurate resulting conclusion.

Now take into mind ,thats only 1 of the many fraudulent practices used by the agw scammers.AND that this 1 practice lowers the supposed warming from the circa .8c,to a circa .4 c,WITH the admitted error range being 0C to 4C.

So that means, without taking into account all the other hugely dishonest practices used to claim the agw scam is "science",that the supposed warming is only about 1/4 the margin of error the agw crowd admits to.....

According to a graph published on the NASA Earth Observatory site, Arctic temperatures were warmer in 1930's than at the end of the 20th century.

A paper published last month (circa may 2011) in the journal Climate of the Past illustrates three different temperature reconstructions of southwest Greenland, which show temperatures were higher than the present in the 1930's, 1940's, 1700's, and multiple other times over the past 700 years

And since that has little to do with the point of the picked quote, ill explain further for the mindermasts out there .The quote

refers to the most recent study of tree rings that shows the well recognized (except by the agw crowd) Medieval Warm Period and the roman era,among others.Which were closer to the ice age we are still climbing out of, and yet equal to or warmer than current times.
