Funny you should ask, apparently according to some of the articles , they did eat some of it.

Odd as this sounds, they did so to test to see if the squid had ammonia in it.
They are qouted as saying it tasted "good".

Very intresting..Every few years they found out even more bigger So that means there must be even more bigger?

the claim is they go to 60',largest caught still alive was like 33',and i think largest recovered dead was like 39'...so they still have a ways to go IF the 60' estimate holds water
