Re: ARRGGHHHHH ! I sooooo need a new game !

Lemme go down my list from the last few months.
7 days to die. (42 hours). I have only been playing this game about half a week now. Its a cross between Rust, Minecraft, L4D, and a small bit of fallout. If you like zombie survivalist with friends try it out. Its still alpha and buggy. (you get angry when you loose stuff and progress).
Arma 3. (35 hours) Looks great. an improvement over previous tittles. but still has the underlying engine flaws regarding AI. I should have spent more time playing it, but I put it down while it was still in alpha, I will probably return in a few months once it is all patched up.
Battlefield 4 (27 Hours) I love the battlefield series, so much more teamwork in them then COD. But retains some of the mindless slaughter that Arma 3 takes away. Larger servers then COD, and dedicated. My only problem with it is I don't get that sense of accomplishment when playing it. Game looks beautiful for a shooter.
COD Ghosts (87 hours) Call of duty in a new skin with a few twists. But hey if it aint broke don't fix it. Releasing a new tittle every year I think is hurting these games as less and less are buying in early. especially since they are also releasing DLC's along the way. But when the crowd you can play those tittles and dlcs get smaller and smaller, Your not going to drop the cash for such a little amount of enjoyment. But hey for arcade shooters, its the best game out there.
Papers Please. (2 hours). As exciting as siting at a border patrol office looking threw papers to make sure they are all in order.
Rust (102 hours). I played this one before 7 days to die. I love the description of it along with the video's. A bunch of naked cavemen running around and hiting each other with rocks. This game is still in alpha. but the developers don't even know where they are trying to take the game themselves. I think it needs more time in development before a conclusion is made. My biggest issue with the game is decay. overtime the stuff you put in decays and goes away. Even with decay off your stuff will disappear after a 3 days. So if you want to take a week off, all your stuff will be gone when you come back.
Space engineers (2hours) have not had much time to play with this. Its sort of a minecraft in space. Its still early Alpha. and needs allot more work before I can suggest it.
Supreme Ruler 1936 (118 hours). The game is coming out allot better then I thought it would. especially since I feel they are going against there engines strengths. Its much harder for the engine to tell a story then it is for the engine to create a story. Very well playable now, and pulls allot from previous tittles. But it has still work to do in finding the balance that is needed to follow the paths of WW2.
Total War Rome II (34 hours). Another Total War game. plays like all the rest, with the exception that the campaign is a bit funner with the new features.
Towns (47 Hours). Beta game that the devs stoped supporting. I cannot suggest this game except for the die hard rouge-like fans.
Train Simulator 2014 (0) it was on sale so I had to get it. But to bad I have had no time to play it. I still never finished my 2012 route.
Wargame Airland Battle (110 hours) Best looking authentic military RTS out there. Even fun playing with 4 friends or 10 randoms. Once you figure out the game mechanics and how to best use your units it becomes more of a bore.
xRebirth (45 Hours). This was probably my most anticipated release over the last few months. It was one of the few that I preloaded and waiting for it to unlock, even thow I knew it would have a few bugs the first few days. I have never seen a buggier launch. This is a couple months later and they are still trying to make it playable. And I don't even mind that they completely changed the way the game plays from previous tittles.
So what game do you need?
Well SR39 obviously. You will always get your monies worth out of an SR game. But I am sure all you guys already have it. And while I am tired of WW2 games. I am hoping this game goes very well for them so they can make 2030 next which the game play will be much easier to do for the engine.
7 days to die. if you like zombie survival, this game is for you. requires friends to play with. But I might be biased with this game as it is still new and it is what I am currently playing.
