8:30 to 9:30.

So get the people you enjoy being with together, and have a party to celebrate the technological advancements man has achieved.Cook up some damn good food, turn on some damn good music,a good game,or a good movie, and just enjoy what the modern world has to offer.

Feel free to start early and go way past the 9:30.

Wonderful idea! Board games and BBQ is a great way to show that as a society we don't actually need to overindulge in excesses for the simple pleasure of creating waste! And what good fortune, it'll coincide with earth hour! Way to go!

Computer games, burning up electricty hour after hour, just like the games you make do ....

Grilling with charcoal, like the rational human beings who knows agw is a scam....

And using all the power the things we do need,as the ability to generate electricity for common use is one of mans greatest achievements.

Starting in about 1 hour, already having fun just setting up the lan

But feel free to pat yourself on the back for the pointless pr event created by econloons to help push the idea of "ebil technology"

as even the loons promoting it admit....
"It might not have an effect on overall carbon emissions because we might have to use more carbon intensive power sources to restore supply afterwards,"
Energy companies always retain spare capacity and will continue to produce energy at the same rate throughout the hour-long demonstration which will end up being dumped off the grid with the loss of millions of tonnes of energy due to lack of demand; thereby, rendering all the good intentions of Earth Hour useless – at the flick of a switch,
Earth Hour is an opportunity for people to show that they care about climate change and want global leaders to take action. Earth Hour is not about saving energy, it’s a positive inspiring event that will show the level of public concern about climate change, and for that reason we will not be measuring energy saved during the hour or reduction in CO2 emissions
The organizers say that they are providing a way to demonstrate one’s desire to “do something” about global warming. But the reality is that Earth Hour teaches all the wrong lessens, and it actually increases CO2 emissions. Its vain symbolism reveals exactly what is wrong with today’s feel-good environmentalism.
And the cozy candles that many participants will light, which seem so natural and environmentally friendly, are still fossil fuels—and almost 100 times less efficient than incandescent light bulbs.
Used to be "That there vash von fool born every minute",i think the Philological Society of Great Britain greatly underestimated at the time, but either way its far more per minute now a days
