Well...there is humanity in them, after all...

I don't think taxes would be very progressive though. I know a lot of people (my landlady included) being a crook and doing every trick to pay a poorer person tax.

However, Flat taxes seem also unfair. A richer man is more in power in a country. A rich corporate leader can say a few things and pull a few strings and make me disappear, a poor student, and no one would give a **** or seek justice. If you got more power pooled in you, make a bigger contribution to the state coffers.
I cant play SR2020 well but I still love 2010. Chris will hate me for exploiting his game to death.

That sounds horrible, I'm a poor student as well, but I have always gotten justice. I think it is good that 'rich' demand more taxes. If I dont remember wrong, these rich people in this group demand that the US gov increase their tax from 35 to just under 40%. Though 40% is nothing compared to other places

Figured I'd give this a bump due to Iow Cacuses. Interesting results there and I think it clears up the race quite a bit.
Looks like New Hampshire will be something of a landslide for Romney, but he is their type of republican, so this is expected (Somewhat moderate, east coast typer person) Interesting to see what momentum Rick carries into NH, since he's been the races biggest suprised.
South Carolina should decide the final two front runers, since if Rick places well there, it will be between him and Romney, while if Perry comes back there, he'll probably stay in the race, Rick will be out for the most part, and Romney will get the Nomination. This in turn will lead to an Obama re-election no matter what the economy does, or much of anything, since they are already planning on dealing with him in the general election.

Meh, looks like I'll probably have to wait till 2016 to get a canidate I really like...

I think US needs a middle class religious and ethnic miniority independet(of party) women president to increase the equality in the US and stabilize it. Wouldn't this be a good idea?

Lol, just thought the americans would gain from it, even if they defiantly think they wont. There is so many predjudes and discrimination in the american sociaty. Maybe a miniority female president would brake some taboos and lessen discrimination somewhat. There is predjudes nd discrimination in every sociaty in the world.

who is obogobo and and what is a obamamessia(extreme obama supporter?)? Personally i would not vote for Obama, but not either the rebulicans. Though if I had to choose between a repub or obama, i would go with obama. Note that i'm from a different contignent, culture and country. So when you say uh(universal healthcare) lessens your freedoms, i say it increases it ;).

The only viable female minority person that I can think of that's prominate to run is Condalizza Rice, and she'll get destroyed by the media, and pretty much everyone for being a black republican. Look at what happened to Hermain Cain.

Obamamessiah is a nick-name that some republicans give to him, since he promised to unite america, make us beloved across the world, and lower the sea levels etc. etc.. He was supposed to bring the Hope'n'Change the country needed.

As for a minority female president reducing discrimination, good luck with that. I don't think American society will change much more from what it is. Political correctness is at an all time high, and the only way I can see things changing is if we go the opposite direction then what we've been having.

Frankly, I don't blame you for voting for Obama (Even though your Finnish, you can still vote in American Elections for Democrats. :D ) considering the alternatives. I've heard from numerous people that aren't huge fans of Obama, but the other choice is just utter crap that their going to vote for Obama again.

I see your point, though i have understanding for not all promises getting filled, but what is important is that he gets something done and some off those promises. He has atleast ended one war, put much presure on the repubs and his fellow democrats to solve the financial problems the us is facing. Other things that has hampered his efforts has been the economic crisis, repubs putting sicks in his wheel(it may be right or wrong, but they have significantly hampered much of his promises), now there is a new election on way etc. Like I said i would not vote for the dude, but i would not either want to vote for a strong verded repub(especially those who talk big about doing more to Iran than sanctions), the world is in more or less economic turmoil, the last thing we need is for a new "war president" to step the throne(refering to santorum who have openly supported the bush doctrine etc. Google bush doctrine if your unfumiliar with it). As Obama I would do more(social reforms, universal healthcare, significantly lower insurances, higher taxes etc) and as a repub I would take a cold shower and calm down.

If Santorum or Gingrich wins, I smells a new war on the horizon... or maybe the new budget will hold them in check? Al-Shabab has officially now merged into Al-Qaeda, the bombers of 911 and others.

Dear god.

You cannot be that far from reality.

The president's physical aspects only affect the voting trend, not the actions.

We had a female prime minister with much "feminine equality" hoo-hah and buzz. Her incredible failures made the rest of the country hate the notion of a female leader.

Obama didn't magically end black and white division, never will.
