castro and chavez are best of buddies.chavez actually is a bit envious of castro,becuase castro came to power thru armed revolution,where as chavez's attempt at such failed miserably.chavez had to win power thru other people,rather then seize it outright.

And as they are such buddies,they have many diplo deals worked out between their regions.Examples of which,are reduced cost oil and goods from venezuela to cuba,and doctors paid for by cuba for venezuela.Cuba has long exported doctors to regions who would agree to prevent such doctors from defecting,and who share similar socialist views.

So it was the natural choice for chavez.And its not like he would be able to easily explain away any use of doctors from capitalist regions.....

....having driven other nationalized industries into the ground,chavez is now seizing the gold industry...It will be interesting to see how long it takes for him cripple this one.

Also in the works, a new drive to seize the nations banks and land owned by an irish company.The cardboard company had employed circa 800 venezuelans,but hey,they can all look forward to government handouts soon....

Chavez makes yet another off the wall delusional claim "cia using supra secret weapon to give latin american leaders cancer" (paraphrased).
And as if there wasnt enough laughter at him over this,reality gets a huge one in by showing one of those latin american leaders didnt actually have cancer The cancer operation preformed on her discovered ,the cancer diagnosis was actually a misdiagnosis.She had a benign tumor.

Keep in mind,this IS dan rather saying this....

Another report out of spain claims chavez is now on a very powerful opiate ,"100 times more potent than morphine",to help him deal with the pain.This normally would be very easy to detect,but cmon, we ARE talking about chavez here....If anything, he might be less insane on this drug
