personally i voted NO ,& although i am upset of the large lose ,but i have to accept the outome since this was the first democratic referendum in our modern history

All the changes are not the main issue ,the main point is that those who voted YES ,wanted the army to step down very soon & give the power back to the new president & parlimant ,that will be elected by the end of this year & they will make the new constitution ,while those who voted NO believes that the other parties are not ready yet to compete with the remaining NDP & muslim brotherhood & wanted to start the new constitution first .but at the end of the day the two will lead to the same outcome ,i hope at least .

I see the US as being in a no-win on this one. They've already been in two wars against Muslim countries recently. A third really would look bad. They have to make this one completely through official (UN or Nato).

Russia, and China looking after their own interests. And one eye on their own undesirable agitators who want thigs like a free press and independent legal system.

Same with the Arabs. + while we are there, I doubt it's a co-incidence that iran pressed th button fot Garza rocket attacks on Isreal just now.

Tough situation for US and UK, but probably the best course, time wil tell.
