SR2020 STORYLINE CORRECT SO FAR?!?

Post by PeytonIsCOOL95 »

The SR2020 story in the beginning of the instruction booklet.
It said we would pull out in 2010!
That means a civil war is suppose to happen and Iran annexes IRAQ!

Ummm Fool? That article is from February 2008. I am pretty sure that OPEC is much happier with the $$ than with the Euro at this point. :wink:

Anyway, I actually foresee a pretty scary % chance that we end up going through some SR2020 type spit over the next 10-20 years. I don't like it. I hope I'm wrong. But it ain't "tin foil hat" territory to discuss it as a very real possibility either. For example: Democrat shenanigans in the next two elections, coupled with a few more massive, game changing, 2,000+ page, big government bills rammed through against 60%-70% disapproval , coupled with the "Great Recession" raging on, could break the U.S. apart. I am not trying to claim it would for certain, but it isn't out of the realm of possibility either. I will let y'alls imaginations explore what would happen around the globe if America broke apart.

with euro as oil trade, it might make my day brighter as I'm in Germany now and some new jobs might spring up.

EDIT: today I feel very shallow.

If you look at history, the US is at the same point as Rome before it fell, first and formost do to political corruption and then of course the Germanic tribes migrating in and not having to learn Latin, creating more loyalty to a potential foe than to the Empire, And It Fell!

North-South divide within the USA would probably seem the most likely, just like in the civil war.

New England or California! Cascadia (Washington, Oregon, Idaho & Western Montana) would more or less represent Britian.

Yes, I believe so! Texas and Alaska have already filed petitions to break away if needed.

read in the paper the other day that there was a small possability of Iraq falling back into a dictatorship. So if they did that. And then continued on the path of destroying thier country. And then if the US got rejected by the UN from getting involved again. And then Iran see's it as an oportunity to step in and Annex Iraq. Then with the US battling it out in congress about not being able to go help that it splits the states?

@Ruges

That situation would not help, but by itself, Iran absorbing Iraq is not going to throw us into chaos whether we are "allowed" to help out or not. Truth is, I don't see the U.N. having a whole lot to say about anything we do or don't do. Oh, don't get me wrong, they would have plenty to say, but what really are they going to DO? Put sanctions on us? Try military action? For militarily stopping Iran from annexing a sovereign nation? Yeah right.
