I found it funny he was a dem from Ill,that would have been my second guess, with Cali as the first.
His responses are incredibly telling...He's just spouting whatever nonsense pops into his head and then crying when he gets called on the nonsense.
Hes so clueless it could pass as an april fools joke.

Did you see this winner...

He "thinks" an island will tip over and worries about global warming that might be cuased by increasing the staff on a military base by circa 8k people ........

Now whos the bigger fools ... these two, or those who voted for them....?

Britain's NHS, Obamacare "prequel"?

http://city-journal.org/2010/eon0322td.html
On March 2, the Guardian reported that the ex-minister, now Lord Warner, said that while spending on Britain’s National Health Service had increased by 60 percent under the Labour government, its output had decreased by 4 percent.
Why wouldn't we want that for our very own? Read the whole thing, very biting "review" of the wonderful world of government health care.
Just before the last election, the chief executive of one of the hospitals in which I once worked was overheard saying, “My job is to make sure that the government is reelected."

Nobody now expects to see the same doctor on successive occasions, in the hospital or anywhere else.
Put simply, that's a lie.

One: No sooner had Obamacare passed than the White House discovered that someone goofed. Despite all of Obama's promises and talking points, Obamacare as passed by Congress does not require insurers to cover children with expensive pre-existing medical conditions.

Immediately, the White House got an assurance from the insurers. After demonizing them for months as callous profiteers on others' misery (in fact, the entire industry is barely profitable), Obama now tells Americans that they can trust health insurance companies to do the right thing out of the goodness of their hearts.
My favorite....

Almost as good as this one...
Four: Douglas Shulman, commissioner for the Internal Revenue Service, announced this week at the National Press Club that Obamacare means he can take your tax refund from you. Obamacare requires Americans to purchase insurance, but contains no serious enforcement mechanisms.

So, Shulman said, the IRS will collect penalties from those who fail to purchase "qualified" insurance by confiscating the interest-free loans that taxpayers make to the government throughout the year through employment withholding.

But the rest of the story is true? Even if you can see your chosen doctor each time, spending +60%$ for no noticeable gain in service quality or quantity is a real screw up.

@Tkobo

The whippersnappers are going to be hurting over that. Personally, I learned a long time ago that you can claim as many people as you like in regards to withholding and keep as much of your check as possible. You just can't claim multiple imaginary people when the tax return is filed. I usually adjust my withholding until I get a very minimal return. The only reason I expected a return large enough to miss (the one I was going to paint the house with), is because my wife doesn't claim enough dependents, and her lower salary boosts our income/tax ratio. Time to change that.

...and they wonder why raising the tax rate doesn't = more revenue? Even a poor shlub like me can game the system. "Go ahead and take my 63$ tax return you IRS jackass."

The National Health Service Blood and Transplant organization said a proportion of its 14 million-strong organ donor list has been affected by technical errors since 1999 — and that a small group of people may have had organs removed without proper authorization as a result.

The programming error meant that, for example, people who wanted to donate organs such as their lungs or their skin were incorrectly identified as people who wanted to donate their corneas or heart.

The Sunday Telegraph newspaper said the glitch affected about 800,000 people — 45 of whom have since died and donated organs. Just under half of those are thought to have made donations based on the erroneous data, the paper said.
Imagine that... a government run health service "accidently" illegally removing organs, and it only took them a decade to catch AND/OR come clean about it.....
Anyone want to wager on whether or not the "accidents" changed the organs to be donated from "less needed" ones ,to "more needed" ones ?

More lies and deceit that went into the Obamacare stew...

http://spectator.org/archives/2010/04/2 ... es-beneath

(Referring to a report detailing cost increases that Obamacare would cause for American consumers...)
...had been submitted to the office of HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius more than a week before the Congressional votes on the bill...

In the end, the report was released several weeks after the vote...

"The reason we were given was that they did not want to influence the vote," says an HHS source. "Which is actually the point of having a review like this, you would think."
Lovely...
