Would you agree with the Global Firepower Rankings?

They really put a lot of countries too high up there in 30+ category.

A lot of the middle strength nations would probably be arguable.

Like?

31-42 includes Lebanon, with a practically non-existent military, Georgia, who has lost almost all of it's functional military. Nepal is also not very militarily strong. Afghanistan has an almost non-existent mechanized/armored army, and is heavily reliant on our supply of ammunition. Similar can be said of Iraq.

The Philippines should not be ranked that high either, having a very small military.

I find it odd that most of the Balkan Nations are missing(Serbia in particular), and Columbia which has one of the most battle hardened armies in the world.

It'd be hard to say how I would re-order it.

It is fair numbers for some game and bullshit for reality.
Comparison tanks/planes/barrels quantity it's rubbish. It is necessary to compare military efficiency of formations which can be involved in planned strategic operation.

I think it makes sense, the list is not about who have the best toys but takes the nation power as a whole, natural resources, geografic size, infra structure(military or possible military use), population and military effetive size and also economical power(government purchase power), it doesn't take political and diplomatic power but I thing that it's just not possible to measure this, just like it's not possible to measure "military efficience" things like strategy, dicipline and such(but it counts military experience). But it's definitely just for entertainment purposes.

that's what i mean in my words , you can't measure strengths in an accurate way , but also to respect all nations strength , casue when you respect other's other's will respect you , if you take an example, isreal in 2006 didn't respect lebanon strength, for that they took heavy losses in 30 days and retreat without make any of their goals in this war .

N.B : isreal ranked 11 but lebanon ranked 42 .
