Obama wins Nobel Prize

As one humor site points out, it could have been worse....

With Monday's prize in economics, all the 2009 Nobel Prizes have been announced. Barack Obama has completed a rare clean sweep of all the Nobels.

The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Barack Obama for bridging racial divides by calling Kanye West a jackass.

The Nobel Prize in Biology/Medicine was awarded to Barack Obama for work on natural methods for eradicating disease carrying insects: specifically, killing a fly live on national television.

The Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded to Barack Obama for distinguished work in experimenting with crack cocaine while still in school.

The Nobel Prize for Literature was awarded to Barack Obama for the best-selling book "My Capacity for Dope". In the fall of 2006 it became number one on both the New York Times and Amazon.com bestsellers lists.

The Nobel Prize for Economics was won by Barack Obama and Tony Rezko for seminal work on urban development and campaign finance.

Mr Obama said he was looking forward to the Oscars.

Of course, this could be an accurate prediction of the next round

Stories out of France and Russia are starting to appear about Obama pushing to get a START Treaty follow on signed before his trip for accepting the "nobel".

This treaty in case you dont know, is about nuclear arms control, and has more than a few outstanding claims of violations...Including the new nuclear missile Russia is testing, which if deployed would violate the treaty big time.

It also has to be ratified by congress,not just rubber stamped by Obama.

So will Obama manage to push thru a treaty thats been being examined and questioned for over a decade now,just to have something to show when he takes the stage in Norway ?

So,Obama arrives at the ceremony pretty much as empty handed as when he was given the award.Despite a push for new U.S. Russian nuke treaty,despite a push for new based agw laws,despite a push for middle east peace,etc..

He had the same exact thing with him, that he'd won the award for though.... words.

And for once,they are acceptably worth the time to listen too.

The day before President Obama accepted the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, Norway, a mysterious spiral of light could be seen in the sky. Now the Norwegians say the light display is believed to have come from a failed Russian test-firing of a new intercontinental ballistic missile.

Authorities say the missile trail lit up the sky and could be seen all across Norway the day before the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony

..and if that awarding wasnt silly enough,the european union wins this years award.....

But wait,its not only the nobel committee going out of its way to make this award a sad joke,now they are getting unwanted help.

michael mann ,you know the loon who brought the world the highly disproven and laughable hockey stick graph,and a leader in the agw scam,has announced he's won the nobel prize.

When laughed at over this claim,he then offered the document below....

Now ,this is an interesting document,for one,it says "for contributing to",not "awarded to" and more interestingly,that text was NOT put there by the nobel committee.Yup you read that right,the document has had the part "Presented to michael mann for contributing to the award of the ...."added to it by someone other than the nobel committee.

Geir Lundestad, Director, Professor, member of The Norwegian Nobel Institute had this to say:

1) Michael Mann has never been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

2) He did not receive any personal certificate from the nobel committe.

3) The text underneath the diploma was NOT put their by them. We issued only the diploma to the IPCC as such. No individuals on the IPCC side received anything in 2007 from the nobel committee

Geir Lundestad also went on to say ...
“Unfortunately we often experience that members of organizations that have indeed been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize issue various forms of personal diplomas to indicate that they personally have received the Nobel Peace Prize. They have not.”

So in other words,mann and likely the ipcc altered the data,yet again.Im shocked i tell ya, shocked...
